That looks really cool, but it brings up a general question. If you have the space, why do people use computer speakers when you could just as easily use a genuine stereo? No matter how good they are, computer speakers can't compare. My computer is using a stereo like the one you have hooked up to your TV, and my roommate's is hooked up to an old tube amp from the '60's. :D
That's a good point, and you'll find a lot of the people who post in workstation galleries at http://hardforum.com do just that. I, however, don't really have the room or the desire to invest in "real speakers" at the moment.

I bought two XboX games, since they were on sale: Mass Effect and Conan.

So far Mass Effect is phenomenal. :D

^ Yeah, Mass Effect is totally awesome. Even though I've played through it on my PC, I will gladly buy it again if it comes out for the PS3 (there's no way I'm ever buying a 360).

7 cd's...
Daryl Hall And John Oates - The Essential Collection
Ilse DeLange - Incredible

Spargo - Best Of
Earth And Fire - Andromeda Girl

And yesterday i bought Little Big Planet and the DVD of Kung Fu Panda...

I've received Guitar Hero: World Tour for the Xbox 360 yesterday and WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2009 is waiting for me at home.

Didn't buy it but this dumpster is removing a crapload of accumulated demo and other useless clutter after 10 months since the first one. It's practically full now and well worth the cost..

Thai lunch.
A small handmade owl for the christmas tree.
A romance novel.

Two free gin and tonic packs with everything - including the stirrer and the lime. This shouldn't really count as a purchase as it was given to us free to promote Gordon Ramsey's live cook-along. Cheers to Mr Ramsey! :D

A dark purple shawl from Coldwater Creek---as a Christmas present for my mother-in-law. She loves purple.

I went to the bookstore today and bought In Awe and We Disappear, by Scott Heim, to complete my triad of his novels. I read Mysterious Skin this week, and while I doubt I will feel as strongly about his other two novels as I did his first, I look forward to reading them.
