Halloween Costume Thread!

Love the costumes...good thing I have one of my own.

First, the bad guy - Le Chiffe from Casino Royale.

Complete with eye scarring, some photoshopping, poker chips, and lots of black.

Second, the good guy - Bond. James Bond.

It's a good excuse to wear a tux.

Really.

I'm definitely doing this again, sooner than later. I loved wearing the tux way too much, and must to it again!

Besides, it beckons to me...

Re: What was your Costume??

My costume. I put the star stickers on there so I would be a "starry" knight (get it?) However, none of the people at the residence hall party understood it without me explaining, so I removed the stars for the campus party and instead put duck tape on my mouth (a "silent" knight.) Not many people got that at first either (even though I frickin WROTE the words "silent knight" on the tape. I guess it was too dark at the party for people to see it right away without me pointing to it.)

nice costume. hey, K, what happened with that guy you liked?

I told him, but it was a bit too late. He's moving to California VERY soon and doesn't want to become too attached to anyone here or it'll hurt really bad when he leaves. He actually told me that he had been hoping I'd say something (to which I said that I was waiting for HIM to say something). There probably would've been a chance if I'd told him much earlier. Now it's too late, and we'll still definitely keep in touch while he's in California. Maybe I'll visit him someday.

Awesome. Simply awesome. Where did you get the coin?

Just adorable. Who else would go as Danger Mouse of all things?

Others definitely have me beat (great costumes, especially Flux and TSQ), but it was pretty fun to wear.

A pimp indeed!

"There's got to be a better way to say that."

I tell you, you can zing your arrow into my buttocks any time. ;)

Here's my Halloween pics:

I'm Reed Richards obviously:

Very nice!

I like it! Did you make the cowl yourself or get it somewhere?

Great costume change! And your Bond smirk is spot-on!

I posted a bunch already in the Pics thread, but here is mine as the Joker from TDK. I had liquid latex with scars made, sadly I inexplicably had a reaction to the spirit gum. Never happened before, so, no scars. :( the rest went well though; my hair was already a good length and the hairline good, so here you go (they're taken from my iPhone, so not of great quality, but they'll do)...

Hopefully better pics will show up soon.

Flux, your costume looks amazing!
^ Hey, sweet! I can't wait to see your costume. I'll probably die from beholding such ravishing cuteness, but it'll be worth it! :D
Don't die from the cuteness, Philo, don't die!
I just got in; I live in a sort of low-income artsy trendy neighborhood, and there was an amazing warehouse party just a 10 minute walk away.
This is my Danger Mouse costume. I wore it all day, and got a great response! I was worried that it might be a bit obscure in the States, but I guess a lot of little American kids watched Danger Mouse on PBS just like me! It was so much fun to hear, "Oh it's Danger Mouse! Danger Mouse!" and to be waved at furiously! It's not exact, but I did pretty well, if I do say so myself

I wore the eye-patch only half the time; I found the lack of glasses plus the lack of the left eye to be somewhat disorienting.

Dam, not bad at all ;)

Calhoun, if you don't mind my asking ... where did you find the toy P99?
Truth be told, I bought it years ago at a party/costume store in Columbus, OH. Actually, I bought two, since I'm a John Woo fan, and had them in cold storage all this time, knowing they'd be useful eventually.

I actually found a whole slew of the same toy gun at a costume store just a few weeks ago.

If I were you, look around party, costume, or toy stores. Might take some footwork, but if you're really looking for one, it might be worth it.

Oh totally. I have a PPK a friend gave me once; I use it as a prop mostly in photography projects. Would be nice to have a P99 too.

There was one at Rocky Horror that actually had the scarring, but unfortunately by the end of the show it was starting to come away form his face (probably opened his mouth to wide while yelling).

Nice pics. The pictures of the faun were just too realistic. :)

This was me Friday. Went as something totally random this year...used an old surgeons outfit I had, threw some fake blood on.... and then painted my face white, added more blood...and got some fake teeth - which I then lost. Vampire Surgeon anyone?!

Last Year I went looking exactly like this... although this Army pic wasn't took on Halloween, I looked identical to it.
