Watching Frasier for the First Time

Let me know when you get to the episode where something important is going to happen under a time crunch and everyone is running around confused and there's some kind of misunderstnading.

Not a fan of smart slapstick?

I'm not sure it's slapstick so much as Whitehall-style farce, and to be fair, I got tired of this format towards the later seasons too. While some of the earlier farces are very good, they do get very repetitive later on.

Still, plenty of very good episodes remain. I just wish the writers had kept the range of episode formats broader for longer.

While I agree it got a bit formulaic and repetitive, I still think they did a hell of a job being formulaic and repetitive, as opposed to, say, Three's Company, which just shot the same episode over and over again ad nauseum.

I kinda agree. I especially felt that, towards the later seasons, they kinda neglected the radio show side of the series. They underused & occasionally mis-used Roz. And I miss Bulldog a whole bunch.:(

Anyone else stateside see the new add for Dr. Pepper with Dr. Frasier Crane and the call from Lillith?

"...the right icy cold doctor."
