What's In Your Neighborhood?

I've noticed things in and around the town I live in that remind me of Star Trek and things related to it. What have you found in your neighborhood that reminds you of or suggests to you things Star Trek related?


This is a crossroads I see everytime I drive downtown:

Not really in my neighbourhood, but on a similar theme there are changing rooms at my work for those who cycle to work or whatever.
Anyway I was walking past it the other day, saw the sign "Female Changing Room" but for a second I thought it said "Female Changeling"

A friend of mine used to live near McFadden St.

I used to live in this town during college and this always amused me.

There are both McCoy ave. and McFadden Dr. in my neighborhood. And Archer St. near my friend's apartment. In between us, we also have an Enterprise Dr. downtown.

I mentioned this before, but in Columbia SC there was a chain of stores that sold reconditioned tires for your car: DEE'S RECAPS.

When you caught their sign in your rearview mirror, it read, more or less, SPACER SEED . . . which was almost the title of an old Star Trek TOS episode.

About 45 minutes south of my parents the Interstate goes under "Leola Road"

In Provo Utah every time I go to the Towne Center Mall I can't help but notice the sign seems to be a rip off of the Starfleet symbol:

I live near a Gowon st, which always makes me think of Gowron. On a few occasions I have referred to it as Gowron st by accident.

I used to live in this town during college and this always amused me.

I noticed "Constellation" Dr. right next to it.

Also, Satellite, Rigel, Jupiter and Gemini... sounds like a groovy spaced out neighborhood.
I live in North Carolina and didn't know about this... kool!

In my Mom's neighborhood there's a short sidestreet named, I swear, "Warp Drive."
