Not sure about next week though, I don't know that this show has earned an episode where I assume KITT doesn't get to do his thing.
TVGuide has reported (on the same date that T:TSCC was reported as being renewed for a full season) Knight Rider has a full season order.

TiFaux still has priority problems. I thought I had straightened it out. I've just got too many conflicts in it and KR's priority isn't high enough.

Whoever she was I thought she was much hotter than Maria Bello.- I hoped that Mike's new "friend" would be hot and she was. Maria Bello was great.

Yeah. I dunno, the stupid thing has a clumbsy and unclear menu system, (I hate Comcast) I was certain I had changed the priorities so that it was getting recorded but "something" must've happened or changed suddenly.
I dunno.
Sigh.
I loved it. There was a good vibe of the original series in it, with the little stunt on the truck. The relationship between Mike and KITT is getting better and better. The story wasn't very original but it was entertaining. KITT is also very protective of Mike as he reveals the bit of dialog between the two agents to Sarah. Nice.
My only complaint will be the usual: get rid of the SCC. As much as I like some of the characters there, there is no need for them.

My VCR recorded it last night
- Thinly veiled references to Blackwater
- Ex-military are all corrupt guns for hire meme
- "Constitutionalists" are "right-wing extremists"
- "Freedom fries" folks are terrorists
- There is no FDR dam but there *is* a Teddy Roosevelt (and Hoover) dam.
No need to wonder the show's political ideology.
I'm sure there's a Weather Underground or eco-terrorism story just around the corner.
Good Lord, that was horrible! It looked like early 90s TV!
Paradigmatic stories, obligatory Tits and Ass, filled with clichés and a snore fest. It reminisces me of last years Bionic Woman! Wow!
I'm sticking until the KARR episode and then I'm done.
Why torture yourself any longer??
This episode rocked! It had all the makings of classic Knight Rider. You had the nice KITT and Michael moment at the beginning with the drive, you had KITT making some jokes, he's learning, and you had the classic scene with Michael standing out on the hood of kit to jump onto another car while KITT was driving with a passenger watching nervously in the seat! Not to mention the fact that KITT was damaged a bit, so not too powerful this episode, seemed more real 
Oh, and I also loved the fact that KITT kicked it into high gear and was able to go very fast without needing to engage Attack Mode, he did this a lot in the classic series, just BAM, kicked it into high gear and sped off, and we got to see that here finally. The end was great, a nice joy ride with KITT, Michael and his girl, very classic. Yep, this episode was very good IMO, I give it a grade of "auto drive (good)"

I agree. They seem to be capturing the original KR vibe more and more with every episode. I still can't stand the damn truck mode, and I think KITT needs to display a lot more personality, but otherwise it's become a pretty fun and watchable show.
The dynamic between Michael and KITT is also getting better. I cracked up when KITT said the 30% chance of survival jumping into the river was better than the 0% chance of survival against the gunmen. And Michael's "KITT, what the hell?" when he wasn't able to show off Attack Mode in front of the girl was hilarious too.
And of course it was also nice to finally see KITT get a little dirty in this ep.

Just remember though, this is just Karr's AI.So Im sure the voice will be different, and of course the vehicle will be different.
I gave it a grade of Good.
I still hate the transforming car and now my 13-year old is in agreement. The old morphing Mustang concept never should have left the table. I thought the "switch to my backup mainframe" was idiotic as well but it was nice to see that KITT has some vulnerabilities. The series is getting a bit better, but one thing I don't like is that KITT has to do everything. There are no buttons or switches for Mike to press. Kind of stupid if there's ever an opportunity where KITT (AI) has to be shut down.
