People:
I figured I'd give this question a shot here, since all of you visiting this forum are pretty sharp, and me, I'm just a dabbler when it comes to computer equipment.
I bought a laptop which runs on Windows Vista and managed to hook up my old Dell All-In-One Printer after having to download the drivers from Dell's site. Problem is, it's missing the fax software. Calls to Dell were of no use.
I have had the printer for four years and it has started to jam up more frequently, so I think it's time to replace it. Does anyone here know which all-in-one inkjet printers, with fax capability, selling for under $100, are compatible with Windows Vista? I've searched NewEgg.com and haven't found any printers yet that explicilty say they are compatible with Vista.
Let me add that after looking more carefully, I have found a few AIO printers that are compatible with Vista. However, one frustrating thing is the product descriptions I'm finding don't say if they can fax documents.
So, if anyone has recommendations, I'd love to hear them.
Thanks for your help in advance.
