I think it was confirmed that in Europe it's not tied to one company. I still have no idea if it's Walmart only in Canada. Such a pain in the ass if it is.
Well, the thing is that AC/DC is exclusive to Walmart in the US... that's probably partly how this deal came to fruition. Is that the case in Europe?
^As I said, we don't know that we'll even be getting this extra game. We don't even have a date for Rock Band 2 yet.
Oh, I see, I wasn't aware of that. I can't see the CD version of Live at Donington anywhere but a DVD of the concert is available from the usual places.
That's the advantage of being owned by a media company... you get a whole show built around your game.

The new AC/DC album is a Walmart exclusive, and it was apparently the band's decision for the Rock Band pack to be the same way.
Yep, but I don't know if that's the case in Europe... or even in Canada. I find it odd though. I hesitate to buy The Who pack but for some reason I really want the AC/DC songs.
So there's a cymbal pack coming for the Rock Band 2 drums that allow you to expand the drum set. But the only ones I can find are from MadCatz. Is there no Harmonix first-party cymbal pack?
I imagine the idea is that you can use those in lieu of hitting the pads. As far as I know, Guitar Hero: World Tour won't recognize them.
Well, while I was hoping for the best, to be perfectly honest this was exactly what I was expecting out of Harmonix.... The 20 free downloadable songs for Rock Band 2: The 88 - "Sons and Daughters" Authority Zero - "No Regrets" Between the Buried and Me - "Prequel To The Sequel" The Cab - "Bounce" The Chevelles - "Get It On" The Cocktail Slippers - "Give It To Me" Dealership - "Database Corrupted" Endeverafter - "I Wanna Be Your Man" The Ghost Hounds - "Ashes To Fire" Hollywood Undead - "Young" Kutless - "The Feeling" The Len Price 3 - "If I Ain't Got You" Lesley Roy - "I'm Gone, I'm Going" Opiate for the Masses - "Burn You Down" Semi-Precious Weapons - "Magnetic Baby" Shaimus - "Like a Fool" Thenewno2 - "Crazy Tuesday" Tickle Me Pink - "The Time Is Wrong" Underoath - "Desperate Times, Desperate Measures" X Japan - "I.V."
I'm happy. This is like their bonus song section I guess. Any idea when they're supposed to be available? Ah, Nov 4, along with the Presidents of the USA pack... and technically, the AC/DC pack. Still no word on whether or not Canada is stuck with Walmart when it comes to the AC/DC thing though. Yuck.
