This was posted to Fox.Com's Terminator blog last night:

While not a confirmation of the full back nine it isn't exactly bad news.

lol fox is really not letting this go. this is the first show that they've tried to really save and give a chance. guess it had to happen eventually. just wished there weren't so many good casualties before they realized.

^ It has a lot of online viewership according to Fox. There were so many people watching Monday's episode on Tuesday (they upload at 9:00am the next morning) that it overloaded Fox's server.

Hmm. Better than nothing, I suppose.

I wonder if they'll write 14 and/or 15 as a possible finale or treat them as normal...

Cool, I thought the show wasn't doing so well ratings wise and the last episode was excellent.

Bah, script orders don't mean anything. Shows get orders for additional scripts that never get made all the time. Hell, a few years ago Surface got a back nine pick up, and it was eventually cut to just two more episodes. I'm not ready to celebrate just yet.

TV networks are going to have to start taking this into account in addition to the overnight numbers when it comes to saving/axing shows.

And yet they're still talking about canceling it? I thought they were finally starting to take the online viewership into acount when they were talking about ratings and popularity.

I just hope if it does still get cancelled that we can get at least get some sort of a conclusion.

None of that talk has come from FOX itself though has it? Seems generally just to be people speculating.

^ It was mentioned in the producer's blog at the beginning of the season and then reiterated on TerminatorFiles by Zack Stentz (associate producer and a writer on the show).

^ Possible. Personally I think that if they do get the back nine episodes they'll be told to wrap up the series.

^ Every so often. More often I just lurk around there. I will say this though: there are people there who put my Terminator knowledge to shame.

T888 - but like I said I rarely go there.

Previously though (a long time ago) I was on there as TerminatorCSM102

No I am not RossBondReturns (despite popular belief) though I have known him for years. His knowledge of the series is encyclopedic.

Hmm, I think I might've seen one or two posts from you before. I post there somewhat frequently as T-8bit, if you couldn't guess. I tried several other forums like the fox one (blah) and that one wiki one (which didn't have very good features at the time) and a couple others where the admins were Nazis. I like terminator files because it's nice to go to a forum where an actual producer posts, and there are some fairly intelligent people there with interesting things to discuss.
