i'm looking for a high resolution scan of the enterprise-j. i found one on the net but it's cut off and the full one was very jagged. could someone here who happens to have the calendar help me out? much appreciated want to be able to see the details.

umm... if you read the post, you'll notice i mentioned finding ones on the net (aka the link you posted) and that they were of poor quality. i would not be asking here if i had found one using google image search. not sure about you, but that's usually where i try to find stuff first. if i don't find it there, i try elsewhere... like here. so hopefully you did not post that as a failed attempt at wit. >_< then again if not, i'm not sure why you did post that because there was no reason to besides trying to be derogatory. if that wasn't your intention, then i apologize.

This is the first hit on Google Image. I've seen the original that's scanned from and, trust me, 2000x1000 is about as high a resolution as you're going to get unless you want to make your own.

that's the first one i saw too and it's quite low res. sure the size is big enough but the quality of the scan is terrible.

this one had good scan quality but it was chopped off.

No offence but I read the thread and you didn't apear to be 'on fire' and the thread has gone along just fine with nobody even saying a bad word to you and for the record my delivery was fine. So I don't have a clue what you're talking about.

if you didn't notice, then you might want to re-read again. already had someone i thought being a smartass.

and of course you will think that your delivery was fine, else you wouldn't have made it. as i thought my own delivery was fine. however, since you didn't get it, apparently it wasn't, was it? same goes for yours. one person's humor is another's insult and such. really depends on your audience and their mood. wrong humor for wrong mood = not a good delivery or joke. all i was pointing out. you responded saying it was a joke, but apparently you didn't get mine either, albeit the delivery was a bit sharp. ah well, referential humor ftl.

actually no. they look very different though the j does follow the standard saucer and two nacels pattern as the other enterprise vessels. it's an unusual configuration as the saucer actually acts as the ships body and underside while the engine and "engineering area" (i'm assuming that's where it is) is above the saucer. they seem to only be joined in the front where the deflector is, at least from what i could see. maybe it's joined at the back too.

doesn't look very futuristic. wish it had a more unusual engine design. the saucer-body configuration looks unusual enough, but the nacels look retro (looking at it from their timeline).

i've been having to piece together the image i was working with from various chopped yet relatively high detail images i've been finding on the net. hopefully soon i'll have a not-so-obvious frankenstein monster like wallpaper image of it.
