FIGHTER CLASSES

Hi all

Wonder if anyone can help us out.

I've been looking to fighters as support for the capitol ships in some artwork I'm doing. I remembered a couple of games where different fighter classes were designed, and probably the best I've see were in the PS1 game STAR TREK INVASION from Warthog. Although they had a flash based website its long since gone, along with any decent images to use as reference.

When it was online though I managed to get a few screencaptures, though they are pretty low quality.

So was hoping someone out there may remember this game, may know of other images or ideally models, or if not, some other nice fighter designs I could be pointed towards.

That "valkpair" image is from Memory Beta, is it not?

To be honest I saved those images years ago, I couldn't remember where it was from!

Hopefully I'll be able to track down some more images and concept artwork.

I only mention it because by look and name it's probably the modified version I made of the image from author James Swallow's site (On the Flare page linked above, it's in a post from Jason Abbadon as "best linky"). So if you're keeping track of versions, you might as well use the original.

(The modification was to arrange the pair more vertically than side-by-side, so the ships wouldn't be shrunk down as much in MB's sidebar display.)

Thanks for posting, by the way. Verra nice Klingon and Romulan designs, which I've never seen before.

I've emailed James Swallow on the offchance he may have some of old concept art I can use, though when I went to his site (which I'd been to before) google threw a fit, saying it would harm my computer! No idea why.

Will continue my search in the meantime, will let you know how I get on.

NICE References!!! Now if only you could clean-up the glitchy mess of the resolution the increase in size made of the Klingon Fighter. I have a few you'll be interested in. The Orcus/Gryphon-Class, Flapjack-Class (Cube 3D) & others.
