Was the Bones licence revoked as well? There's only been one book
^ I don't know about "revoked," but my understanding is, Kathy Reichs became concerned a line of Bones tie-ins would create confusion with her own Temperance Brennan novels.
But there actually is a going license for that, isn't there? Or was that just for a few books' worth?
The BBC Radio productions weren't much better.
I remember going to cons about twenty years ago and seeing lots of B7 fanzines for sale, but I hadn't managed to get into the show yet. I wish I'd bought some. I know how bad some fanfic is, but I also know how good some fanfic is and how bad those two books are, so the chances of randomly picking up a fanzine that was better than A:ATA or Afterlife were good.

Whoops, I was just looking at it as a more general "dream tie-in" question, as opposed to the original discussion (on this segment of the thread, that is) about licenses and publishers.
In any case, I don't know if the nuBSG license is still in effect or if further books are planned, but those few books that have been published have been harshly criticized. I would guess that they haven't done terribly well, but I don't know that for a fact.
^ Which astonishes me, as they were written by real writers, rather than mere media tie-in hacks. It was a formula for guaranteed success, by gawd!
i'm not a writer, i don't even portray one on TV, but tie ins i wouldn't mind reading are below. mainly it's shows produced before ending a series properly came into vogue.

I remember reading Captain Scarlet novels when I was a wee nipper, so there must have been some...

I'm also surprised they didn't try launching a Mission Impossible line post-movies...
There is a second Sandbaggers novel, which apparently tied up some of the loose ends caused by the series' writer Ian MacKintosh being killed/dying in a plane crash and leaving a cliffhanger at the end of the third series.
I didn't bother once it was learned that it'd be a waste of time.
Well, that explains why I never even got a reply...

Tie-in novels I'd LOVE to see that are unlikely are: Jericho and that very short-lived summer action show from last year: Traveler
Well, as long as we're throwing around wish lists for inaccessible tie-ins, I would love to write a Firefly/Serenity novel/short story/comic book...and I say that knowing the fate of pitches sent in by others (including at least one person in this thread, of course) for the novel series which never eventuated. 
I would've also liked to continue the story in the short-lived series Kindred: The Embraced (which is to say, not the World of Darkness setting on which it is loosely based).
I also would've liked writing a Quantum Leap story--maybe one that even takes him outside the United States more often?
David Mack mentioned Indiana Jones, which would be cool to see...ever since they reprinted the novels from the early 1990's, I've been wondering whether they plan to fill in more of the time period between Last Crusade and Crystal Skull with new novels. (The Bantam books occur in the 1920's and early 1930's.)
I would've also liked to continue the story in the short-lived series Kindred: The Embraced (which is to say, not the World of Darkness setting on which it is loosely based).

The German Indy novels published in the 1990s were set in the period after Last Crusade but there's never been any sign of them appearing in English - unfortunately, according to friends of mine who've read them.
