German is good for compound words. :D

The longest word, ever published in print in the German language:

Donaudampfschiffahrtselektrizitätenhauptbetriebswerkbauunterbeamtengesellschaft

English: Association for subordinate officials of the head office management of the Danube steamboat electrical services

The longest current German word:

Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz

English: Law for the beef labeling supervision duties delegation

Donaudampfschiffahrtselektrizitätenhauptbetriebswerkbauunterbeamtengesellschaft

Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz
I'm using those two on a daily basis.
I'm going to pretend I am back in English class and I need to use my vocabulary words in a contextually relevant sentence:

I need to contact the Donaudampfschiffahrtselektrizitätenhauptbetriebswerkbauunterbeamtengesellschaft because I somehow need to transport the Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz to inspect my slaughterhouse that is located along the Danube.

As a disinterested straight female, I Googled some images of her, and I don't think I'd call her "average" at all. Has Hollywood and the rest of the media so badly twisted the concept of what "average" actually is for some people?

Yes, they have -- you have but to witness some of the fashion and gossip magazines found in the racks at supermarket checkout lanes to see evidence of that -- but I think that what we have here is more a simple case of someone trying to show off on the Internet.

While we are on the subject of long words, the longest word in the english language is Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis

Now, lets get back to how much Star Trek sucks. :D

Big words. Olivia Munn is certainly average. If you want a truly beautiful woman, look at Keely Hazel or Diora Baird.

Which was correctly used by Abe Simpson!

I see. Bust size = beauty. Got it.

Now, then: back to flopping big. :)

If they put something out eventually, they are going to end up reaching everyone that they would have if they released something right now. Having something out for a long time doesn't make people more likely to go see it. If they see a decent trailer, they will either decide they want to see the movie or they don't, and releasing stuff 10 months in advance won't change that. Also, if they release something now, then they are going to have to do even more trailers and teasers. The more trailers and teasers they release, the more scenes they have to use from the film. And that directly leads to more of the film being spoiled. Do we really want that?

I say release a couple good trailers a couple months before the movie comes out, we will get the same audience anyways.
Any member of the general public who went to "Cloverfield" saw a great teaser trailer
I went to two different showings for Cloverfield. Both the times the audience groaned, laughed or poked fun at it. "Another one?" "It's gonna suck" "Is this Star Wars?" were the comments I heard in the theaters. It was embarassing.
Based on this, what would be the point of releasing anything? Perhaps if we bombard people with enough stuff, they will eventually be forced to change their minds. If this is more wide-spread than just your theater, then if would indicate that the public doesn't give a rat's ass about Star Trek, and even if they had a comic-con booth, getting all the comic fans on board certainly wouldn't make it any more successful than it would have been.

You are being dense on purpose. It's not just about bust size but about having womanly curves and a pretty face. Miss Munn has neither.
