Villians you really hated

Edward Jellico

I don't consider him a villain.

In fact, right now, I hope he's running Starfleet.
Jellico was a prick (Mr. Cox usually plays one), but in the long run, he may be what the Federation needs. I vote for Edward Jellico, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of StarFleet.

Worst villain: Q (I know I'll probably get slammed, but DAMN! Every time a show was floundering in ratings they pulled out Q. The bloody azzhole wouldn't even rescue Voyager from the Delta Quadrant!

Awww, i loved Q i thought he was hilarious, one of my all time favourite characters.

Absolutely.

Q was not even a villain in the traditional sense, as he ultimately seemed to have the crew's best interests at heart (or whatever he has). He was mischievous and cunning, but I wouldn't call him a villain.

(Except maybe for "Farpoint", but that was his first encounter with Picard et al. and the Continuum may not have known what to do with humanity yet.)

What were some of the guest stars on all the series that
you really hated and wanted to see shot with a phaser to the face.
Mine was Alixis from DS9's "Paradise." What a coniving hateful bitch who stranded people on a planet because of her own feelings against 24th century life style.

Mine would be Damar, pre-redemption. Especially during the six episode arc during DS9, Season 6, he came off as a weasely, sniveling, sycophantic slug who seemed to have little compulsion about beating up, taunting and/or abusing those weaker than him. Quite frankly, I could easily picture him raping or sexually abusing some young girl, like Ziyal. He just came off as that repugnant. Plus, I really wasn't that fond of Richard Biggs' acting and overall vocal delivery. I SO wanted him to be killed off.

I remember standing up and cheering when Kira beat the snot out of him (in "Behind The Lines", I think). Left me with a HUGE smile.

Q was, for all intents and purposes, a god. I think of him as Coyote or Loki.

I think you mean *Casey* Biggs. ;)

Richard Biggs played Dr. Franklin from Babylon 5.

Oops, sorry. I believe you're right.

Still hated the character, though.

Kai Winn is supposed to be hated. It's a testament to Louise Fletcher's Oscar-caliber acting in her Winn performance that she is so hated. :techman: For this reason, I love Winn.

Villain I hate the most is Keiko O'Brien. Totally useless battleaxe and immensely annoying to watch in just about every single scene she ever has even though she was not supposed to be. Some may argue she is not technically supposed to be a villain, but her performance bears it out that she is a villain (always acting evil, no redeeming qualities whatsoever) so she's a villain IMO and the most hatable one in all of Trek.

I always finding it to be a fascinating dynamic how I love Winn and can't stand Keiko even though their performances are more or less identical; the only, and key difference being one performance is intentional by the actress and the other is not.

Another vote for Sela. TNG wrote her badly and she could have been one of the most enduring villains of the series instead of "Oh, Sela's back" *groan*

Aww, I liked Damar even then. Don`t know why, that scene where Kira beats him kind of makes me cringe and leaves me thinking yeah, sure, right, as if.

In any case, I really hate that bitch from `Paradise` and Kai Winn. They should meet sometime, have a cup of tea. Bleurgh.

Other villains were bad, but I actually enjoyed watching them, like Dukat or Weyoun.

Kivas Fajo - Irritating, stuttering, psychotic, perverted and spoiled all rolled into one.

I really wanted to see Data kill him, rather than lead out the rest of his life in a comfy Federation prison.
