Big Brother 10

And yes, tenmei, your boy Jessie is the new man in charge. That means you can look forward to more shirtless close-ups all next week.

I know! Colour me happy! I am actually rooting for Ollie's downfall now, I don't like the way he's come out of the whole Brian Backstabbing thing so clean. You'd think that the other housemates would realise what a snake he is/was/will be and that if he'll betray Brian, he'll betray them too!?

Also, am I alone in thinking that Steve fancied Brian?

^ Steven totally fancied Brian! I don't think he ever voiced it. But yeah, I think so. Even more obvious was Angie's crush on Brian. All of the other house guests talked about it. Poor love sick puppies! Now all Angie and Steven have are each other.

Dan's been trying (and failing) to integrate himself in with the rest of the house. But he'll never lose his association to Brain. Hell, he was the only one loyal enough to not vote against him last night!

Anyhoo, Jessie made his nominations today if you want to be spoiled:
Dan and Steven. Looks like they aren't going for a back-dooring after all. Classier move on Jessie's part. And at least now we know he didn't completely cave-in to Aprollie's demands.

At least by nominating both of those he knows that only one of them can win POV so one of them will definitely be up next Thursday and, I'm guessing, whoever it is will definitely go.

If neither of them win POV, though, I think it'll be a toss up between who goes and who stays. Hopefully Dan stays because I really like him - as a fellow teacher and because he seems like a nice person.

You mentioned Angie was one of you favourites, I think. I have to say that out of the women, she's my favourite - she seems tuned into the vibes and is trying to play the game. If she can get past the stigma of having associated with Brian, she could go a long way.

Things appear to be turning around for her in a good way. Your boy Jessie appears to be really smitten with her. He wants her in the worst way, and she (knowing he's in a position of power this week) is smart enough to flirt along. Hopefully their connection will help her get by for the next couple weeks. Or until she can win HOH herself.

Damn, I don't want my boy Jessie being played by ANY broad! Hopefully he'll wise up and realise that she's trying to play with him (and not in the way he wants to be played with) - but, I have to say, Angie seems like a pretty strong individual and if any of the women are going to win a physical HOH, it looks like it could be her. We'll see, though, I could be wrong!

Well now, tonight was interesting.

Things we learned about Jesse:

1. "Jesse loves Jesse."
2. Jesse is petty. He decided to rid himself of Steven because Steven didn't come to his room. Boo-frakkin'-hoo. Steven also worked hard to win Jesse's team food. Add this to the way he dismissed Renny and apparently didn't hear her apologize to him...well, yep, Steven is right, Jesse's a tool.

I would have gotten rid of a real threat like Angie or Renny, not some guy who "disrespected me," eg. Steven didn't suck up to him and stroke his insecure ego.

He made the right decision about Dan, though. Jesse actually believes Dan will give him "loyalty." Um, Jesse, Dan just switched sides in an effort to save his own skin. That's not "loyalty" at all. When the time comes, Dan will turn on Jesse.

Anyone see the "talk show" skit(s) they put on on After-Dark last night?

Funny stuff.

This is really a nice, clean, fun bunch of people.

Steven was almost breaking down in tears when Brian left, it was so fracking hilarious. I wonder if any of the other housemates realised how lovesick Steven actually was with regards to Brian? Remember this, that Steven hates Jessie because Jessie was the major factor in the removal of the object of his affection - anyone who did that would be considered a tool in Steven's book.

Jesse has a petty element to him, sure. But he made the right move in putting Steven up for nomination - and not Renny. Renny is not a threat, the others were right when they had their bedroom meeting - she won't win and she'll be gone in the next few weeks. The reasoning about Steven not rushing up to the HOH room was a bit weak, but Stevens reasoning for not going up was bloody awful - he claims he was asleep, but he was awake when they were up there and he realised they were up there because when they watched him on the camera, he looked up towards the HOH room.

It took him 24 hours to go up there - so, Steven's rebuttal of the accusation is crappy. Jesse has put up two of the strongest people in the house who aren't on his side of the alliance - and they made no secret in backing Brian.

All things considered, as Hennessy Badger said, Jessie has actually done a pretty good thing and given them a way to remove themselves from the line of fire in the POV comp instead of putting one of them up against someone else and backdooring the other one.

The POV competition will be decent to watch. Steven v Jessie v Dan oughta be fun, eh!

Okay, a few things:

The creature known as Aprollie had sex with itself last night! Apparently the part of the creature formally known as "April" could be heard telling the other part "Ollie" he had to pull out. I guess they weren't using protection! In case you're wondering what their offspring would look like...

In other news:

The whole Jessie/Angie potential showmance is not happening after all. It looks like the next showmance may be Jessie/Michelle! :wtf: The hookup could occur as early as tonight!

Libra more and more is being seen as a troublemaker and a threat. Yet the other house guests almost seem too afraid to cross her. I'm really interested to see where she ends up in the run of this show. One thing is for sure: Slop makes her damn cranky!

The house guests groupings appear to break down as so:

  • April
  • Ollie
  • Libra
^ The core three above work with:
  • Jessie
  • Michelle
  • Memphis
  • Keesha
And then there are those on the outside:

  • Jerry (yup, I guess he was only loved cause he was HOH)
  • Renny
  • Angie
  • Dan
  • Steven
Unless someone in the bottom grouping wins HOH in the next couple weeks, the bottom five are pretty much goners. Which is a shame. But then again, it will be fun to watch the larger alliance turn on itself. Cause believe me, that is gonna be ugly/wonderfully entertaining!

And I'll leave you with a list of my favorite to least favorite contestants:

1) Angie: The second she referenced Boston Legal, I knew it was love. ;)

2) Michelle: Fun to watch on the feeds. Plus, she is a diehard BB fan which I really respect.

3) Jerry: His old guy charm is wearing thin, but he's still undeniably likable.

4) Dan: Loyal

5) Steven: Annoying at times, but keeps things interesting.

6) Libra: She's playing a serious mind game. Like I said before I'm really interested to see where she ends up.

7) Renny: Don't judge me, but she's kinda growing on me.

8) Memphis: Neither like nor dislike.

9) Jessie: As Peacemaker said, "Jessie loves Jessie"

10) Keesha: Would be higher on my list, but she hates her alliance and yet doesn't have the balls to switch sides. I'd actually love to she her win HOH, to see if in a position of power, whether she'd mix the game up.

11) Ollie: The only reason he didn't get stuck with Brian's group is because he was willing to whore himself out to April.

12) April: An insecure mess of a human being. Worse thing is: she may win.

I watched After Dark last night (we are getting it free for a while, woohoo!), and I realized that I really can't stand April, Ollie, and Jessie. I had to change the channel when it cut to them because they were just so damn annoying to listen to. Especially April. Does anyone else think Jessie's face looks really fake? I don't know how else to describe it. It just...looks like a plastic doll's face or something. It's kind of disturbing.

I'm shocked! How could you all have such a low opinion of my man, Jessie!? He's great and he's playing a much better game than several othr people in that house and he doesn't look plastic. At all.

If you don't like it, don't watch it. It's not like there's not plenty of other stuff on plenty of other channels for you to watch. We all like some tv programme that someone else doesn't like - so stop bitching about it and accept that different people have different tastes.

Jerry's voice hurts my ears and makes me want to drink lots of water and suck on lozenges.

That's about all I have tonight.

Personally, I think Michelle made a boneheaded maneuvere by not removing Dan from the block so that Jessie could put up Libra in his place. Libra, at that point, was pretty much hated by the rest of the housemates and would have stood a good chance of going - and you have Steven saying to take Dan off and leave him there as a sacrificial lamb. Either way, someone you want gone, goes!

It's amazing what they can do with editing. The fact of the matter is, Michelle didn't take Steven's veto suggestion seriously for a second. Michelle is playing as safe a game as possible. She's in with Jessie and Memphis (side note: I don't buy the whole 'including Angie' thing), and she's in with Libra and Aprollie. If she used the veto she would have ended her alliance with Libra and Aprollie and that's something she wasn't willing to do.

You are right, had Michelle nominated Libra, Libra would be gone tomorrow night. But Aprollie would be fighting like hell for HOH so they could seek vengeance on her. And her bodyguard Jessie won't be eligible to compete tomorrow night.

Although I wish Michelle had taken the risk (it would have made for crazy good tv) she made the best possible move for her. Because she's still cool with the majority alliance. And that's exactly where she wants to be.

Oh, I can't wait for tomorrow night! I really want to see Angie take HOH. Or even Dan (let's not even pretend Steven stands a chance in hell of staying in the house. That boy is gone). Angie or Dan will certainly make for the best mix up in the game! Renny would also make for an interesting HOH. I'd be okay with Jerry winning.

Memphis or Keesha, not as much, because I think they'll cave-in to the will of the larger alliance. But even those two would be preferable to Michelle, Libra, April or Ollie winning. Those four I don't want to see in charge next week. It's time for them to be taken down a peg or two!

I guess we'll see tomorrow night.....

Good thoughts. Yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing what Dan or Angie would do with HOH. And it is practically a certainty that Steven is going, I think.
