Don't see this posted anywhere here or on the TV/Media forum, so I'll go ahead and post it here as it'll get the most attention here, so here's the new trailer for the next Bond film.

::scratches head:: You couldn't find it in Gen TV/Media, so you posted it in SF&F?

Still. Cool trailer though.

Bond is so far from the reality of espionage that it qualifies as fantasy in my book ;)

but it is damn good fun.

Curious, why do all my James Bond related posts get to be redirected to mainstream media, when James Bond has often overflown with blatant fantasy and science fiction elements since the Connery era?

Quantum of Solace seems to be more overtly sci-fi than Casino Royal, which is not necessarily a bad thing, since I enjoyed You Only Live Twice more than Goldfinger and Thunderball.

All the Bond topics are supposed to be in the tvm board... at least according to the mods.

Agents, it's not exactly a secret that James Bond threads belong in GTVM. Once there it can be merged with any existing threads by that forum's moderators.

They played that trailer in front of The Dark Knight at my theater. I was looking forward to Quantum anyway, but that just got me even more psyched up.

James Bond takes place in a realistic setting though at times in what is supposedly "the real world" so the mods usually move it to General Media.
