You just don't know how happy I am that some of you don't know who this New York person is.

Here's a brief summary.
New York (she called herself that because I guess she's from....New York) was on a Reality show called Flava of Love as one of 20 women vying for Public Enemy's Flava Flav's affection (don't ask me why). She didn't win, but she was a such character, VH1 decided to do another reality revolving around her being wooed by men called I love New York (1 & 2). Now about three years, one boob job and several weaves/wigs later, she's going to Hollywood to become an actress.

I never seen any of these shows in its entirely. Except for bits and pieces from E!'s The Soup.
