Endeavor in Vanguard?

Nothing specific at this early juncture, but I will say that the scene depicted on the cover was not originally in the story. When I got my first look at the early sketches/etc. and saw where Doug Drexler was going with it, I reworked a couple of key scenes in the outline with the express purpose of incorporating events to support the cover art. :)

So does that mean that cover art is now considered canon for the books?

Fictitiously yours, Trent Roman

Awesome. This is the best freakin' Star Trek series ever..

Vanguard is definitely one of the best. I was never big on the Original Series era but Vanguard has softened my stance (as I love the series). The scope, cast, and premise of the series are just fantastic. And while I love the work produced by Mack and Ward & Dilmore thus far, I'd love to see someone like Christopher L. Bennett added to the mix.

And two Vanguard books next year? 2009 looks to be an awesome year for TrekLit.

Well, Masao's Vanguard station made it to "The ultimate computer." At least something very similar (but smaller).
