Yeah, I missed that too.

I love that nobody can find the Sombrero thread until they're pointed to it. It means that the average TrekBBSer sees absolutely nothing unusual about a 1,280 post thread about the color of the Enterprise's engines!

In my defence I don't go into the Star Trek IX forum. Only went in there when the teaser was released to comment on it. Since the movie isn't out until next year I find it hard to gather the excitement for it yet.

Well, I missed the start of the sombrero-madness by a couple days too, and I opened the "blue warp nacelles"-thread with the intention of making a sarcastic comment about the obsession of the TrekkBBSers with minute details of the upcoming movie until I noticed that the thread got massively derailed.
