Re: Nothing at Comic-Con - This sucks
Cloverfield has about 10 websites, but that movie sucked.

When the facts have changed it's important to get people accurate information as quickly as possible. From your linked page:Nothing has changed much - Paramount still has no plans for a Trek presentation at Comic-Con. So why has the thread title been changed?

So, there will be something at Comic Con involving Star Trek. That being said, Paramount will have a booth and there will be some Star Trek ‘presence’ at the booth.

There's still no "Star Trek" presentation scheduled for Comic-Con - that hasn't changed. There was just a general statement by a Paramount marketer a day later that there would be some "presence" - and no announcement or even strong rumor of any specific Trek stuff at all.
Exactly. I loved it, too.Cloverfield has about 10 websites, but that movie sucked.
In your opinion. It's been extremely profitable, as I understand. And I loved it.
Wouldn't that be awesome if the water bottles had a pic of the new Enterprise on the side with Star Trek May 2009 underneath. Then let that be the extent of their promotion at Comic-Con.There's still no "Star Trek" presentation scheduled for Comic-Con - that hasn't changed. A Paramount rep will be there to hand out free bottles of water. You know, to help Trek fans wash down all the bitter pills.![]()

How often do thread titles get changed here to reflect the opinions of posters who differ with the person who started the thread?

A lot of people look at a thread's title, the first post, and nothing else. So you get something like this, and then a bunch of off topic stuff. (I'm not picking on you Hunter, it's just an example. I've done the same thing in the past.) You're thread title was no longer accurate and since this thread isn't a joke/sombrero thread but actually reporting news on the film it should be treated a little more seriously. Well, as serious as anything in this forum gets.
