Will Kira Nerys be revealed as Kirk's granddaughter, as so many have suspected?

Will Chekov be revealed as Kirk's son?

With Kirk's track record, David could NOT have been an only child.

Personally, i thought it would have been interesting to have a parallel universe that had a "Kirk's World", where his every sexual encounter produced a child. The TNG crew, by their time, will encounter a whole planet with people who have genetic ties to Kirk.

I'm actually more curious if we'll learn about Spock having any children and grandchildren. Since we're going to see him as an old man, it's possible they might mention or show something along those lines.

Kirk was only 12 when Chekov was born...then again, this is James T. Kirk we're talking about. 12 is too young, even for kirk. However, I could see an 18 year-old Kirk becoming an unwitting dad.

It is available today, but that doesn't seem to stop a lot of people from having them. Even the term 'baby daddy' is now part of every day vocabulary. Sad, but true.
