"The Two Coreys"

propita

Rear Admiral
Rear Admiral
I have no idea why I watched this, maybe to avoid studying.

Anyway, the two (Corey Feldman, Corey Haim) are having a sit-down confrontation at Al's Deli on Ventura in the Valley (not a bad place, really).

Their talk/accusations go to Haim saying something to the effect that, when they were 14yo, Feldman said nothing when Haim was getting raped and/or molested by Feldman's "best friend." Feldman then said that the same was happening to him, by someome else.

WTF? They were minors!

I know the statute of limitations has passed (and that Feldman was hanging with Michael Jackson then), but wouldn't you think something about this would be looked into?

And back then, what the hell happened to their parents? Here's these two men, blaming each other for not being there when they were 14yo! Honestly, I don't think it's either of their faults. They couldn't defend themselves, what could they do for the other?

I know, not my life, but what a sad world that no adult who was supposed to be looking out for them (at least their agents or managers, the ones making money off these two, if not their parents) lifted a finger to help.

So you are actually admitting to watching that tripe?

I weep for the death of our culture.

They proably just made it up for their tv show. You can't trust anything that is on reality tv.

Like I said, it was watch that, a rerun of something else, or read my Interpretational Law, Legal Interpretation, whatever this summer class is.

For mindless entertainment (M.E.) some reality tv is interesting, like Top Chef or Project Runway--where they have to actually DO something or create something. As opposed to Big Brother where they get (mostly) good-looking people to confront each other and/or make out. Nothing against fans of shows like that, but I'm not interested in that stuff.

Didn't they star in a Robot Chicken where there were two of them as crime fighters or something....
