Should the "re-imagined" NCC-1701 have blue warp nacells as the Enterprise NX-01 and C through E have? I'd personally like to see it.

I would have to disagree. Some more detail on the nacelles perhaps, but no blue. The red and orange twirling nacelle caps are mandatory.

Did anyone else TOTALLY forget what the original topic was?

I would like to take moment, though, [preachymessage] to remind everyone that this whole Sombreroific Adventure is strictly for fun and by choice. I've seen a couple of instances, out there in the other sombrero-related threads, of what might be interpreted by the uninitiated as pressure applied to "join the cult", so to speak -- in one case upon someone newly returned from hospitalization for a condition which has been causing them no small amount of discomfort, and still staring a recovery period in the face -- and I really don't think we want it to be seen that way. If someone doesn't want to play, then that should be that; fun will not be enforced.

^ What M'Sharak said is right on. This is all a bit of goofy fun. But if someone doesn't want to play don't rag on them. Some people just don't care for this kind of stuff, and they shouldn't be pressed to participate. On the flip side those same people shouldn't expect the sombrero to disappear anytime soon.
