What is/are the only films in your DVD collection you "never" watch?

Re: What is/are the only films in your DVD collection you "never" watc

Superman III and IV. They were part of the Superman Ultimate Collection. I wanted everything in the tin but those two movies. I've toyed with the idea of checking out IV again, but haven't gotten around to it.

Yeah, I got it too and haven't even touched those movies.

There a few movies that I've "retired" from my collection. Among them the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

There's quite a few movies in my "offical" collection I likely won't watch again for a very long time.
I actually just (finally) bought the LOTR movies last week...but I've since realized I've seen them SO many times that I don't need to own them. :scream:

I think the big problem I have with the trilogy is that it doesn't feel like a trilogy of 3 different movies that can be watch at your leisure. They are one, giant story that doesn't really stop, and if you watch one, you kind of have to watch the other two very soon afterwards (and in order too), in my opinion.
I know exactly what you mean. Back in March, I had a day off from both jobs, and tried to do a marathon of all three films. I only got through Fellowship and Two Towers, but it's now three months later, and I realize for me to really get into Return, I'll have to start over again.

I've got a few:
Hulk (It was free. That's the only reason i have it)
Fantastic Four
Fantastic Four 2
Diamonds Are Forever
Live And Let Die
The Man With The Golden Gun
Moonraker
Octopussy
A View To A Kill
Die Another Day
Alien 3
Alien Resurrection (Those two I have as part of the quadrilogy.)
I feel the same way as you in regards to the Roger Moore 007 films. Not only is he bland (IMHO), but he lacks that certain edge that the other Bond actors possess.

But, I still watch them when I hold a 007 marathon. Last week I watched The Spy Who Loved Me and sometime this week it is Moonraker.

The last time I watched the trilogy, it was the extended versions and I did it in 20-30 minute bursts over the course of a week or two. That was kind of nice, sort of like reading a couple chapters before you go to bed.

^Huh, that's an interesting concept. A couple of friends and I just did a marathon of all three extended editions about a week back. It wasn't as difficult as I was expecting though.

This is exactly how I watch the LotR movies, for exactly the same reasons (feels more like a few chapters from a book).

Glad to see I'm not the only one. :)

Kite (Didn't like it)
The Princess Blade (Same as above)
Tremors 4 (Came with the rest of them in a set)
Zeiram (Ultra cheesey. Bought it because I liked the animated miniseries)

Superman III & Superman IV (part of the ultimate collection)
Highlander II: Special Edition (I was fooled into thinking that the new cut was good. It really isn't. Extras are good though)

In my house there's currently about 250 that haven't been watch yet. Parents have finally dumped all the video tapes that have been taking up a crap load of space on the bookcases for years and replaced the entire lot with DVDs (and as they take half the space, they're going about filling that up with new stuff...) It'll take a very long time to get through all of them I think...

I have several dozen in my collection that I have not viewed since originally purchasing them and am actually in the process of whittling through the collection and selling off the stuff I don't watch.
