Well, the slump is finally over and the only thing I can say is thank god. Of course this week I play scout so it might be shortlived, but still. 
Perhaps not. He's in second to last place.
It can't be a good thing when you see your catcher for both teams (Yadier Molina) being carried off on a stretcher. Soiunds like he'll be okay, but I can't afford to wait for him to recover from his concussion. Just when I thought I'd found a decent catcher...
I've got an extra catcher in the ESPN league if you are interested in trading up.
And I have an extra catcher in Yahoo, if you're interested, although I'm waiting to hear back from Niner4pot (TigerBait) on that count.
So who are you willing to part with- Posada or Martin? And what do you want in return? I have extra OFs, and I might be willing to part with a RP (not my top boys, though). I'm taking off shortly, but if you want to shoot me an offer, I'll look over it tomorrow.

Well, my only SPs that are worth anything are Cliff Lee and Ben Sheets. Considering my dearth in SPs, I can't afford to part with either. Looks like there's no trade scenarios that'll work (unless you're interested in any of my other SPs, but they're all sleds).

I'm having a streak of bad luck when it comes to catchers. In the Yahoo league, I picked up Gerald Laird when Yadier Molina went on the DL and in less than a week, Laird ends up on the DL as well. I sure hope my latest acquisition (Kurt Suzuki) lasts a bit longer.
Ick, Suzuki. I looked at him when Posada on the DL and he didn't look all that good. Things must be pretty dire on the waiver list now...

Yeah, not a lot available on the waiver wire. Suzuki probably wasn't the best choice, but over the past month, he seems to have had the best numbers.

You and me, both. Between that and injuries, my team has been awfully shaky the last few weeks. Hopefully, that's just a phase.
