Thanks for the feedback on the Seahawks.
I've not really been overly exposed to the NFL, or perhaps have not focussed on it the way I do with the likes of MLS and the NHL - indeed, I heard more about Qwest Field from its role as the home grounds for the Sounders - but I did want to know a little more about what kind of organisation the Seahawks' side of the organisation has.
(But even then, from what I have seen, the kind of relationship that the Seahawks and Sounders FOs has impressed me a lot more than that between, say, the Patriots and Revolution...)
Plus, having lived across the border in BC, I'm a big fan of the Pacific Northwest native motif used by the team!
It's a shame that NFL teams tend not to play off-season matches - it would have been great to see a kind of test match series between the Seahawks and BC Lions in a few years, as a means of celebrating the renovation of BC Place due to take place by then... and as a way of building on the cross-Cascadian rivalry which exists between the Vancouver Whitecaps (who are set to move into the new-look BC Place in 2011) and the Seattle Sounders...
But sticking with the NFL for now, what do those of you more familiar with the sport believe the Seahawks would need to break into a higher tier of success in the league - and do they, or their FO, have the means to achieve it?
