What was it?? There are lots of candidates but watching the Borg slice out a section of the saucer in Q Who still blows me away!

I really like the shattering of realities in "Frame of Mind." It wasn't too flashy, but still quite cool.

Seeing the Future Enterprise decloak and attack in "All Good Things..." is always awesome too.

In "The Nth Degree" there are some great shots that gives the scale of the telescope (Argus?) array, compared to the E-D.

I was watching those ep's on a big-screen at university, and some of those pans across the array were amazing.

I have two..

Seeing the look on the Romulan captains face after the THREE Klingon Birds of Preys decloaked around his two Warbirds in The Defector

And...hmmmmmm...good question by the way....I'll go with the Enterprise, with Western Music in the background, going off into the sunset at the end of Fist full of Datas..

Some of the "two Picard" shots in "Time Squared" were very impressive. I liked the shot showing two Picards engaged in conversation while walking side-by-side along a straight corridor. Another good shot involved two Picards in a turbolift. If memory serves, when they either entered or exited, one of the Picards walked in front of the other.

EDIT: As I browse TrekCore's screencaps for this episode, I'm reminded of how cool the Enterprise-and-anomaly shots were.

You reminded me of another shot..by far my favorite as I think of it. When RIKER walks around Thomas Riker when they first meet. I am not even sure how they did that scene. Which one was filmed first???

I think well-done "twin shots" are underappreciated. All too often the characters' eye lines don't match up -- one or both characters are looking too high or too low.

Well-done twin shots with a moving camera? Very cool.

Where No One Has Gone Before. From the warp bursts to streaking nebulas to foreign galaxies, this episode pretty much had it all.

Let's not forget Spiner acting with two other versions of himself in "Brothers".

My favorite ship shot is the battle at the beginning of "Preemptive Strike" or the aforementioned shot in "Qwho."

I've always liked the purple nebula scenes from BOBW, especially once the Borg start wrecking up the place. Plus in between is that wonderful scene in Ten Forward with Picard and Guinan.

Some good ones already mentioned for sure. I also liked the multiple explosions of the Enterprise in Cause and Effect, all done slightly differently.

I liked the firing of the anti-matter spread in BOBWII. I also enjoyed seeing the Enterprise separate.

Couple of shots stand out for me.

The first one is in Redemption, and it's a rather simple scene. It's when The Enterprise, does a 180 by pivoting on its right nacelle pylon to leave the fight between the Klingons.

The second is the effects heavy fight between the Enterprise and the 3 Klingon BoP's in Yesterday's Enterprise.

Do you make a tire-screeching sound whenever you watch that getaway?

Be honest. I know I do :)

That was filmed with soap in a bucket, believe it or not!

Some of the shots in "Phantasms" were cool.

I'll have to think of some more...

Some of the ones that have stuck with me over the years is the Enterprise destroying the attacking drones in Conundrum; the shot of a half vaporised Crusher in Timescape; the Romulan attack at the start of The Defector; the shot of the destroyed Jouret IV colony in BOBW; and the graveyard scene from BOBW II.

There was a great shot of the ENterprise firing its phaser from underneath in Conundrum. I also liked the drean sequence in Birthright I!

Personally, I loved the decloaking Enterprise in the finale. From there, she jumps straight into combat against the Vorcha class cruisers

The different angles in which the Enterprise was destroyed in Cause and Effect. That was impressive.
