Who killed KMPEC?

I just watched that episode last night with my wife...and you know what? I don't think Durass did it. I think Gowron framed him. It is too bad he became a scumbag, Gowron, but I did like him in House of Quark...but I could easily have seen him killing KMPEC. He was devious in that kind of way..

So...who do you think was responcible for KMPEC's death?

It would have to be Duras. Although Gowron tried to influence K'Ehleyr with a seat on the Council, he did not seem to be the dishonerable type. In DS9's Apocolypse Rising, he stopped his guards from killing Sisko because he wanted to do it himself, in battle.

I'm sure that challenging K'Mpec would have been rather dishonerable anyway, so maybe he would poison him.

I'd say any Klingon in that situation would do everything in his power to secure the throne, "honorable" or not.

And I vote for Gowron framing Duras for the poisoning, even though Duras obviously did the bomb attack and quite probably had been scheming to kill K'Mpec before that (who wouldn't?). That's a nice spin there, RobertScorpio!

Actually, Gowron stopped his guards from killing Worf when they were in battle. That was how Odo figured out that it was the real Gowron. Gowron was kind of shady, but he drew the line somewhere.
