I'm not really very good at photoshop (putting it mildly), but I HAVE mastered the lightsaber effect. 
A few examples...
"Impressive, Mister Spock...most impressive. But you are not a Starfleet Captain yet."
I'm not really pleased with the Merrickus one, and the one of Kirk and Kang features wobbly blades. I still need to fix those too...and a couple other pictures where the blade's thickness is inconsistant between wielders.
Thanks, I'm glad that you of all people approve! You'd be surprised how often they used swords or other primitive weapons on TOS...Not bad. Never thought there could be that many pics you could shop a lightsaber into.

The UT was practically DESIGNED to be a lightsaber handle...it's the perfect size and shape. Coincidence, but cool nonetheless!!

Back to what we were discussing earlier, about the Yeoman Calender: seriously guys, let's do it! The "Blue Warp Nacelles" thread turned into a weird photoshop project that swept all of teh interwebz, so why not do our own project? Do I hear any agreements?
First off, we should probably decide which yeoman goes in which month. Thus far, I think we've decided on three:

She's one of my all-time favorite TOS women, so it's probably best she was never a yeoman...otherwise this whole project might stray to be all about her!

She was played by Phyllis Douglas, and like many TOS guest stars, pulled double-duty when it came to being a "supporting character." She appeared in "The Way to Eden" as the brunette hippie, sporting an adorable ponytail (yeah, I have a thing for those XD ) and showing off her awesome legs!!
Every single person in those photos needs to be blasted out of an airlock. And yes, that does make me a "Herbert".

Commenting on pictures somebody else posted is not trolling, and this thread has hardly remained on topic throughout - unless there really were lightsabres in TOS that I somehow didn't notice.
