Without a doubt, the NCC-1701.

Just like a '65 Mustang convertable, you can't get any better.

Enterprise D for me, not that the original doesn't have its merits but I just think it looks more solid. Plus, it reminds me of my old alarm clock
You had an Ent-D alarm clock? :D
 Yeah, I had one, too.

This one:

The original design always struck me as the most realisitic of all of them.

Though the romantic in me, always has room for the Galaxy Class, something graceful about the design.

The E always struck me as too missle like or a big torepedo :P

Its funny to be honest I liked all of them, Just the original always was my favorite

Same here!! I think it has something to do with the fact that the original design was created by a real-life aeronautics engineer instead of a regular Hollywood concept artist. He put a LOT of thought into the design to make it as practical and utilitarian as it was beautiful.

The "smooth skin" that people always rag on for being "undetailed" for various reasons ("they were too cheap!"), despite the fact that the model actually has a MULTITUDE of tiny details too small for the TV, had a purpose. Matt Jeffries wanted the outer skin of the Enterprise to basically be one big piece, with all the important devices on the inside, in order to minimize the need for potentially dangerous maintenance and/or repair-related spacewalks. :techman:

Wow, this is the first time I've ever seen the movie-era refit not winning one of these polls.

Are you asking only about exterior, or interior counts too?

If we are counting interior, then Enterprise D, no doubt. The most beautiful bridge ever.
If were looking only the exterior, then Enderprise E. But it is too dark from the inside.

I'll count both, so I'm voting for D.

Ick.
I hated the ENT-D bridge from day one. My first reaction on seeing it was to wonder if they held dances there on Saturday nights. It's sterile. Ridiculously large considering there were rarely more than 5 people on it. The viewscreen was frankly preposterous. Why would anyone want an image of a person to be 5x the size of someone standing on the bridge?

It's not my favorite design, but I think it's definitely the most functional of them all.
Yep! Always struck me as being the most futuristic-looking; all the other designs were too cluttered and overcomplicated. They never really looked that high-tech to me...

Finally someone agrees...the D's bridge didn't even LOOK like a bridge. It looks like a big lounge - the whole ship was just a flying Hilton Hotel. Too cushiony for me. And the holodecks, where you just play out crazy fantasies all by yourself with fake people? Sorry, I'll take the TOS Rec Room (where people share meals, sing songs, play chess/checkers/cards, and just generally INTERACT WITH OTHER REAL HUMANS) over a Holodeck any day. :)

I like Ent D because it looks so comfortable to live in. And holodecks are great. If you want to interact with others you have Ten Forward.
I agree with Okuda about the desing: "I wanted to show that this ship was so advanced that it was simple."
It's simple, comfortable and it has a really nice feeling.

Zimmerman: "We were criticized by the fans, who said it looked like a Hyatt Regency hotel. I was okay with that. Gene wanted light colors, he wanted space, he wanted it to feel like home. He did not want it to feel like a submarine."
Andrew Probert, consulting senior illustrator: "I was hired to design the bridge. Gene wanted something that was rather large, very comfortable, had a lot of earth tones in it. He did not want people hunched over computer consoles. He wanted it to look more like a living room than an IBM center."
