Just saw this...RIP Harvey. Thanks for the laughs. 
Especialy when they would start laughing and it was not in the script, a truly funny and gifted comic, thanks for all the laughs Harvey may you rest in peace.

Some of my earliest memories were of Harvey, Tim and Carol-dear old friends of my childhood-Harvey, there may be other funnymen but watching you lose it as Tim Conway wandered off-script is a memory no one can replace.

I just watched the dentist skit and the elephant story skit. I have tears in my eyes from laughing. Brings back great memories from watching with my parents.
It's weird, people just aren't that kind of funny anymore very often. People seem to depend more on writing and less on just being hilarious like these guys all were. I'm not that old but I certainly feel like it after saying something like that.

Today, they depend on put-downs, potty humor, and profanity to be funny. Comedians like Korman, Conway, and Burnette were all class acts with tongue in cheek humor. Their shtick is better than anything Adam Sandler, Eddie Murphy, Vince Vaughn, or any of today's "top talent" could ever produce.
I got to meet Mr. Korman once, when he came into the tv station I was working at. He and Mr. Conway were in town for a couple of shows. I am pleased to report that he was warm, funny, smart, a true gentleman & everything you want your stars to be, but too often they are not. The world is less funny today & I am much sadder. RIP, Sir & thank you for the .
I wish they'd release my all-time favorite movie of his to DVD! SOMEONE has mastered the VHS tape to DVD and is selling it on line, but I want it ANAMORPHIC, dammit!
