NX-01 Computer Consoles Inquiry

Hello everyone,

I'm new here, and I have a rather simple question that so far hours (read days) of googling and wiki didn't answer. Perhaps someone here might know.

I'm basically wondering if a name was ever given to the Pre LCARS used in the Enterprise series.

I first heard of LCARS in the first TNG when Captain Jean-Luc Picard takes command of the NCC-1701D he describes it a bit and mentions that this galaxy class starship used LCARS as it's computer operations interface.

Being too busy I missed most of the Enterprise series when it aired so does anyone know if the NX-01's Pre LCARS Computer Interface had a name?

The system was called SC/OMS which is short for "Spacecraft Operation and Management System". You can usually find that name running down the left side of the larger data "windows". However, I started calling it the "scone" system as a little joke with myself.

Thats interesting, I've only ever heard it referred to as the "pre-lcars screens"
