^I know I bang on about Tube etiquette a lot, but I spend a lot of time on the Tube going backwards and forwards to work and that time would be a lot easier for me and everyone like me if everyone was a little more considerate.

I'm debating whether or not to buy a very nifty briefcase on eBay.

I never actually take a briefcase to work (I try not to bring work home), but it's just so cool and at a good starting price too.

I doubt most people who carry briefcases are carrying work back and forth. There's plenty of other things you can carry:

iPod
snacks
books
catalogues ;)
I have a big leather bag I carry. It normally has my laptop, several folders with contracts that need reviewing, my ipod, a bible, and a handgun with at least two extra magazines. Sometimes it has a flashlight too.

Are you actually legally allowed to walk around with a loaded weapon as you go about your business? If so, that is truly shocking.

For hunting, or protection in the home... so I heard....

...but, to just walk around with willy nilly, as you might a bunch of hankies... that is so messed up, I don't know where to begin.

While it's not a choice many Americans would make the "right to bear arms" is a constitutional right. So is the right to free speech which means if apostle wants to discuss the gun in his bag or I wish to discuss the tampon in mine then we have the right to do so.

Although I can't imagine anyone is interested in discussing my tampon so I'll drop it now. ;)

Perhaps, but since apostle83's views on gun ownership have already been the subject of several other threads, would you be so kind to leave the discussion out of this one?

^ Let's talk about shoes.

.......

Alright fine. My last purchase was two tickets to see the new Narnia movie. For the most part I thought it was good even if it strayed from the original novel quite a bit.

I'm beginning to like the idea. :D

I did think about getting a Halliburton Zero a while back, just for the swagger of the shiny aluminium, but a bridle leather briefcase will look even cooler, if I can get it at the right price.

Yes, you strike me as more of a brindle leather type of guy. :)

I bought a new wallet to replace the one that was stolen yesterday. It is very cute, but kind of depressing. My friend loaned me $200 to see me through until all my accounts are settled and I get my new credit and debit cards, so I got to put some cash in there; but otherwise it is empty! No IDs, no change, no family photos, or stamps, or pay for ten haircuts get one free punch-cards, or 10% of Blick and Utrecht art supplies teacher discount cards, or strawberry-flavored condoms, or any of the other random things that should be in there. :(

^ so very glad that link didn't redirect to a sex shop... :D

Ouch, sorry to hear that.

Well, think of it the wallet equivalent of starting a new photo album. :)

Remember what I said earlier? An empty wallet is an efficient wallet.

(okay, okay, I nicked that from Brazil, but still. :p )

I bought two Bath & Body Works scents for the plug-in Wallflower fragrance bulbs. I just love those things.
