Who/what was the Albino?

In the DS9 ep "Blood Oath", we see the main nemesis of the heroes known only as "The Albino". Is this an albino Klingon or something else entirely different. Have the novels tried to explain more of this character's backstory? He tends to look a little like a Klingon-esque, but with very pronounced, almost chaotic forehead ridges and short white hair. Any thoughts?

Yep. The character was never again mentioned on screen, to my knowledge. The book really is a great read. You get stories on the TOS era crew, Klingon Dahar Masters Kor, Kang, Koloth and a very young Curzon Dax.
