How many of you are Star Trek collectors?

I myself have what could be termed a modest Star Trek collection: Videos and/or DVD's of all the series, a mix of mass produced and higher-end/handmade TOS replica pieces, tons of books and reference manuals, and a handful of items I won in the eBay It's A Wrap Auctions. I am curious as to how many other people have what they consider to be either: essentially no collection, a small collection, or a sizable collection of Star Trek items. I bring this up as many people online hint at large collections, but other than myself I do not personally know anyone else who has a collection.

I have complete DVD sets of the ENT and TOS series; a few movies; lots of books (mostly TOS) and some of the ENT scripts off eBay. Haven't been able to prevail in the few auctions I bid on for stuff from ENT. :(

I'm somewhat of a collector.
I go to the big Vegas convention and collect autographs, and have some merchandise, but I have no plans to but some of the big stuff like costumes or props from the series or movies. I can't afford that stuff and I have no idea what to do with them If I did get that stuff.

Starting in December 1979, I have bought all the books (some second hand for earlier releases), all the comics (but only getting the Gold Keys now as "The Key Collection" omnibus reprints), many selected action figures - all set free! - and the two-disk movies and boxed season sets of TV DVDs. Won Andorian and Tellarite ambassador costumes via It's A Wrap!, and the Andorian outfit is on a blue mannequin in the lounge room.

I maintain a "Star Trek Shrine" in a spare bedroom but it's now bursting at the seams.

I'm planning on getting all the DVD sets sooner or later. So far, I have all of TOS, TAS, season four of ENT, and all the movies aside from the last two.

So, yeah, I got a ways to go.

I collect quite a lot. I have all the TOS DVDs, About Half of TNG and DS9 so far, I have that TOC Movie box set, and also Generations and First Contact. I have autographs of the whole original bridge crew, and a set of 11 Furuta star ships. I have a 12 inch tall Data action figure, a small Sisko in TOS uniform, and I am starting to buy some of those nice art asylum ones (Mirror Sulu, Mirror Kirk, Kirk and Khan) . Most of my spending money (oh so very little) goes towards Star Trek stuff or other DVD's.

I don't have a ton of stuff but I do have a fair amount.

I have TOS and TNG on DVD.
I have all ten films on DVD and 1-9 on VHS.
Round about a hundred Star Trek Novels, mostly TOS and TNG as well as the 1999 edition of the encyclopedia and the ST:TNG technical manual.
From playmates toys I have the Enterprise-D, the Enterprise-B, the class6 shuttlecraft, a bunch of action figures, the romulan bird of prey, three phasers, a tricorder and a TOS communicator.
From Art Asylum I have the Enterprise-A, the Enterprise-E and a Black body/white grip TOS phaser.
I also have four posters on my walls as I type. One is a 25th anniversary poster with Kirk, Spock, McCoy and Uhura. One is a cross-section of DS9, the next is a cross section of the original Enterprise signed by William Shatner. The last is a rare poster made for the company Evans & Sutherland. They did the tactical and starfield effects for Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.

I believe thats it for the moment. I have some interest in aquiring an Art Asylum original Enterprise and Enterprise-D.

I have a few small items. My hobby is scale modeling. Here is the Enterprise-D I did last year.

Well, I have almost the complete set of Hallmark Star Trek ornamets, I also have a few technical manuals, character figurines, ship models, Kate Mulgrew's autograph, real metal comm badges, and a few other various Trek items. I haven't collected stuff in a long time, I inherited most of the stuff from my steppfather.

If I had the money (and I mean lots of it) I'd go out an buy everything I could find, not just Star Trek but other franchises as well like Star Wars etc. So far all I got just now are season 1 DVD's for each series, plus S2&3 for TOS, the Movies and a few Reference books. If I'm ever lucky enough to get a good sized income boost then I would consider getting alot of collecters items.

I have a sizable collection of Star Trek books, a lot of Trek comics and magazines, a bunch of fanzines, soundtracks, and all of TOS, TAS, DS9, and the movies on DVD. I'll probably get TNG eventually too. I have a very small collection of Star Trek toys and collectibles.

Not a collector but I do have an old AMT TOS Enterprise model kit, unassembled in the box. Also have a TOS command insignia patch. That's it.

When I was in middle school and high school I collected action figures, watches, models, a few playing cards, a set of tacky Christmas lights shaped like TVs with various TOS scenes "playing", etc... I also bought a number of the books, which I still really enjoy.

Now all I buy is DVDs.

My brother and I have been collecting Trek since the 70's and have a massive, very extensive collection. It's a great hobby that we share.

The most recent big addition to the collection is Avery Brook's Commander Sisko burgundy and black Starfleet Uniform from the first 5 seasons of DS9, purchased at the Christie's auction last year.

Wow, any pic's?

I've been collecting books and action figures, and pretty much any props i can get my grubby lil hands on, for several years. I have never managed to grab myself a "real" uniform- I think my partner would tell me off if i tried, since even the uniforms worn by the extras are at least £1000.

Yeah...My wife and I each have uniforms but we have never worn them...I have collected life sized props, and books, and things like that...the most I spent, I think, was $500 on a signed script from STar Trek TUC....

I have a rather goofy collection. ;) For years I bought whatever cheap Trek stuff I found. I have a set of TNG rubber stamps. I have Ferengi & Klingon halloween makeup kits. I have a child-size TNG red unitard uniform. I have a Borg spinning lollipop and Borg chapstick.

I have a lot of the "standard" collectibles too - DVDs for TNG, DS9, and Voyager, lots of the books and audio books, a few figures, etc. My favorite collectible is a substantial horde of trading cards. I had so much fun gathering those, and one of these days I'm going to resume pursuit of chases & holograms that I'm still missing.

And one of these days, I'm going to have to catalogue all my stuff so I know what I really have. I keep thinking of things - two TNG wall banners, a framed picture of the Enterprise-D, two ceramic replicas of trading cards, a wall clock with the 4th season TNG cast picture... :D Back when StarTrek.com used to run a weekly trivia contest, I won it two or three times, and they sent a box load of prizes each time - all sorts of nifty trek stuff to add to my collection. I'd never have gotten the young adult novels or any of the comics without those prizes.

I only have a small amount of Trek stuff at the moment: All the TOS DVDs, 1,2,3,4 & 7 of TNG, and 4 of Voyager. The plan is to build up all of the series of all of the shows eventually, when I'm less of a broke student. I used to have loads of books, some magazines, video games and a few other bits and bobs like posters, mugs etc that I bought when the Star Trek Adventure was in London, but I foolishly sold them all a couple of years ago when I was having a major clearout to raise money for something. I still have a couple of games left, and I suspect I'll acquire a ton of stuff later on when I've been working full time for a while..
