Oh, oops. I should read the post before voting. I thought you were asking what do I actually own and not what would have picked. :o

However, the only change I would have made was grabbing the vial of sand in addition to the compass and the baseball glove.

At first, I thought he was saying, "One of these things is not like the others". It seemed that Locke had several chances to get to the island earlier, since he was a kid even, and he kept messing up.

I said the vial of sand, the compass and the baseball glove.

This thread takes me back to this:

One of these things is not like the others,
One of these things just doesn't belong,
Can you tell which thing is not like the others
By the time I finish my song?

Hmm, that might be the most honest way of answering the question, come to think of it...

Interestingly, my answer would be unchanged. Unless kitty litter counts as sand?

me too. I would have grabbed the Mystery Tales-its probably a blueprint for how the Island works.

i dont' kinow if itsbeen mentioned, but this is the same test they give to little kids to find out if they are the reincarnation of the dalai lama.

just sayin'.

I'd take the knife and stab the guy and just take the rest of the stuff.

Really though I would have gone with the compass. As a kid, that's what would have fascinated me the most since it had moving parts and I didn't know how it worked.
