Well, it's worth a shot. And if it doesn't work out... Defcon made me do it! And if the moderators want to breath down my neck and lock this thread for it sheer impertinence, I understand. 
The rules are the same as Sci Fi & Fantasy. You submit one avatar on the week's topic. The winner sets chooses next week's topic and sets up that thread. The avatar can come from anything that would be discussed in this forum; TV shows, books, movies, and so on. For the time being the avatars should not be sci-fi or fantasy in nature. Essentially, if you could submit it in the SF&F contest, you can't submit it here.
This week's topic: Antiheroes. I think it's self-explanatory. Over the decades we've been treated to a wide variety; show us your favourites in modestly sized gifs and jpgs and so forth!
Accepting entries until Saturday midnight, GMT. After which point I'll put up a voting thread; assuming that entries have actually been submitted and assuming the thread hasn't been locked in the interim.
