Shameless Whoring: Ward & Dilmore @ ST: The Experience!

Prostitution is illegal in Clark County which includes Las Vegas and environs. However, there are free limo rides to Pahrump (insert joke here), 90 miles NW of Vegas, in which prostitution is the leading GDP.

Enjoy.

^You're seeing two hos? Does that cost extra?

Oh. You mean us. Never mind.

Bubba D. (Now very excited about conversing with Sissy about the legalities of prostitution in Nevada, since apparently she is well-versed in the specifics.)

^ I think I was about 7 or 8 years old the first time I kicked a boy's ass for calling me Sissy.

Of course, now that I'm older, I know that a guy's ass isn't really the most effective place to kick him. And since I now also have years of soccer playing under my belt, I hope you don't plan on having any more kids, Bubba. :p

^ Ha ha! I've done been snipped!

Bubba D.
Hmmm, I take it you think being snipped will make said kick somehow less painful for you?

Of course, you could get yourself off the hook completely by not calling me Sissy, you know, like ever again.

And maybe making sure my wineglass is never empty at Shore Leave.

To drag this thread back to its original purpose (My shameless whoring), I am happy to say that the Experience website now lists our signing as an actual...you know...event type thing.

Star Trek: The Experience

We're at the bottom/below the fold/whatever, but we're there.

So, woo and...dare I say it...hoo.

Hey, kids,

I just got the official e-mail from The Experience promoting your appearance. Too bad I'm in Vegas this weekend. Waah!

Have fun.

Completely unrelated to "shameless whoring"....

But I checked the site, and happened across the Quark's Bar and Restaurant Menu... I notice a few things (wholly irrelevant in the grand scheme of things).

1. There is no Prune Juice on the menu! Do they want a war with the Klingons?
2. There is no Earl Grey (Hot) on the menu! What's a Star Trek gathering without the captain of the flag ship of the Federation?
3. The Jambalaya is called "Petrokian" instead of "Sisko's"
4. Wow, they have Raktajino!

1) That was Worf's thing. The Klingons on the Time Station...er...Experience make due with all the bloodwine and blood ale in the joint.

2) It may not be on the menu but I suspect it's a choice among (hot) teas.

3) Sisko wouldn't sell the recipe to the Ferengi.

4) Prepare to be awake for several days.

I'm curious about the format of the event. Will you two give any kind of talk or presentation, or will it be completely signing and chatting?

^ Nothing formal; just signing and chatting. We're staying at the hotel, so the odds of us visiting Quark's or even riding the ride(s) before/after the signing are pretty good. We'll have some time to kill before heading off to the Rush concert.

I should have realized that Rush had something to do with the scheduling of the event. :) It should be an exciting day for all. See you in 25 hours or so!

^ Originally, we were only going for the concert. It was TerriO who suggested I contact the Experience and see if they were interested in hosting a signing. They were very enthusiastic, so....ta dah! :)
