Pretty good episode.
I know this isn't news but for some reason it was really bothering me tonight. Clark Kent is such a wishy-washy namby-pamby I just can't stand it. I can't imagine what would turn him into Superman as we know him. Apparently, he's not faster than a speeding bullet either.
It was just explained.
He was a hero during the second meteor shower which got him the ability to run for office because he was a national hero. Pretty much the same way he became President in the comics as well - he was instrumental in the rebuilding of Gotham City following No Man's Land.
Okaaaaaaay, being a national hero means you don't have to be 35 to run for election?
Or is this just one of those things we really aren't supposed to think about?
Seeing that Lois is established and has a Pulitzer I would assume this is 5-10 years later.
