Is there a US state that has not been shown/represented on film or TV?

Obviously, California, Neveda, Texas, Florida, New York, New Jersey, Hawaii, Alaska, Illinois, Michigan, Massachusetts, and Washington D.C. (technically, not a state, but stilll...) have been fairly represented, but are there any US states that just have not made it on screen?

Re: Is there a US state that has not been shown/represented on film or

Not North Carolina. Represented by Kiss the Girls, Bull Durham, and Nell, all of which were filmed there. The Rookie and Cold Mountain were also set there, but not filmed there.

Re: Is there a US state that has not been shown/represented on film or

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say "no".

Re: Is there a US state that has not been shown/represented on film or

Name one film/TV example for each of the 50 states + Washington D.C. if all the states have been represented?

I dare you.

Re: Is there a US state that has not been shown/represented on film or

"Sleepless in Seattle" takes care of my home state, for better or worse.

I'm sure every state has made it on screen at some point.

Re: Is there a US state that has not been shown/represented on film or

^^ and who said Leprechaun was a pointless movie?

Re: Is there a US state that has not been shown/represented on film or

Although, some of those southern and midwestern states tend to blend together...I honestly can't tell the difference between Nebraska and Oklahoma for one thing.
Clearly you haven't seen Oklahoma!

Re: Is there a US state that has not been shown/represented on film or

Alabama - Home state in Forrest Gump.
Alaksa - Featured and many movies and TV. Most notable (to me) Northern Exposure.
Arizona - Any movie or show featuring The Grand Canyon
Arkansas - Sling Blade
California - LA, 'nuff said.
Connecticut -
Delaware -
Florida - Plenty.
Georgia - Atlanta is there, plenty of movies featuring Atlanta.
Hawaii - Plenty of movies/shows there.
Idaho - Napoleon Dynamite.
Illinois - Chicago.
Indiana -
Iowa -
Kansas - Leavenworth. The Day After.
Kentucky
Louisianna - New Orleans
Maine -
Maryland - Close to D.C. It's likely any show/movie in D.C. has been in Maryland at some point. Hell, for all intents and purposes D.C. is *in* Maryland.
Massachusetts - Boston. Cheers, to name one.
Michigan - Detroit. Beverly Hills Cop, Robocop.
Minnestoa -
Mississippi -
Missouri - St. Louis. Quite a few movies centered around St. Louis.
Montana - TV Series Coach to name one.
Nebraska -
New Hampshire -
New Jersey - Any movie featuring NYC is bound to mention/go into NJ sooner or later.
New Mexico - I know "Vacation" went here.
New York - New York City
North Carolina -
North Dakota -
Ohio - Cleveland, Major League
Oklahoma - Musical of the same name.
Oregon - IIRC Short Circuit.
Pennsylvania - Philadelphia is here: Rocky.
South Carolina -
South Dakota - Mt. Rushmore. (Plenty of movies featuring this.)
Tennessee -
Texas - Certainly, Dallas anyone?
Utah -
Vermont - TV series "Newhart"
Virginia - The Pentagon is here.
Washington - Seattle.
West Virginia -
Wisconsin - No specific examples I can think of, but I'm sure it has.
Wyoming -
Washington D.C. - 'Nuff said.

Wikipedia didn't "miss" it, nobody has added a Delaware example to the article yet.

Re: Is there a US state that has not been shown/represented on film or

A search by location at IMDb returns 103 results for Delaware, including Dead Poets Society. Somebody... go!

Ah, even I can name some reasonably popular films taking place in Nebraska:

Citizen Ruth, Election, About Schmidt. I'm sure there are others, but those are the ones that spring to mind.

Re: Is there a US state that has not been shown/represented on film or

Wikipedia tells me Fight Club was set in Wilmington, Delaware.

I think they shoot One Tree Hill there.

Further, I believe the film October Sky was filmed in West Virginia.

That is never specifically stated, only gleaned from the fact that that's where most of America's credit card companies are based.

Re: Is there a US state that has not been shown/represented on film or

and one for the territories - Flying Nun was set in Puerto Rico
