I've tried to watch Boston Legal, but I just can't get into the show and I found Shatner's character to be annoying, but maybe I just tuned into some less-than-stellar episodes.

This was a hard choice, but I really enjoyed Scott Bakula in Quantum Leap, and so I went with it instead, but many of these performances listed here were wonderful!

I'm not familiar with most of the poll, so I'll abstain from voting.

But if the choices weren't limited to the above, then I would pick Leonard Nemoy for his portrayal of Theo Van Gogh in the stage production Vincent.

I agree that my favorite is Dwight Schultz as "Mad Dog" Murdock on "The A Team."

In addition, I liked Patrick Stewart's Claudius in the BBC version of Hamlet starring Derek Jacobi as a very CRAZY Hamlet. Awesome.

Patrick Stewart as Scrooge in A Christmas carol. Or in The Canterfield ghost.

Quantum Leap. Every week the guy played a character ACTING like another character to everybody around him. And the roles were very diverse...everything Sam as a pregnant woman to a monkey.

Leonard Nimoy in Never Forget. It was a performance worthy of an Emmy.
However, of the choices given I voted for Walter Koenig in Bablylon 5.

There are some good suggestions, some that were forgotten, and some real stinkers but my vote went to LeVar, he help define a generation in something that was never talked about before.

From the list, Walter Koening was great as Bester, no doubt.

Movies, Patrick Stewart in Excalibur was the first thing that came to mind, and after thinking a bit George Takai in Green Berets is also very good.

The best though, cleary is Takai on the Howard Stern Show. Funniest shit ever.

You mean the recent stage version where he acted alongside David Tennant right?

Who was the cast? Tennant was Hamlet while Stewart was Claudius?

I realize there were a lot of people I forgot like Louis Fletcher, or Dwight Schultz but I'm not familiar with every Trek episode and I decided to try and keep it simple by sticking with main cast members.
