Worst Episode of Trek Overall

A couple of months ago, I set out on a quest to determine the TrekBBS's least favorite episode in all of televised Star Trek. To that end, I conducted a series of polls in each series' forum. The episodes those forums voted as their least favorites for are included in the list. Amongst these options, please select your LEAST favorite. The episode receiving the most votes will be named TrekBBS's least favorite.

Wow, this will be exciting. I voted "Code of Honor" – it's as un-trekkian as you can get. I spit on thee!

The Fight gets my vote--drowns in technobabble, poor acting by Beltran and even Picardo, a waste of Boothby, I hate boxing, it was an incoherent mess. This is how not to do a high concept anomaly episode.

I sorta like Code of Honor in a campy way. LHWIWS is bad with the lame romance and Worf being annoying and the pointless appearance of Vanessa Williams..

TATV has some good ideas that were poorly executed. I didn't mind using TNG characters to look back on the final mission of the ENT crew. It was a fitting idea actually. It just needed more polishing. I loved seeing the sets of the 1701-D recreated as well as the CGI version. While the episode didn't really have the sentimentality one would expect from a series finale, it did contain several nice isolated character moments--Trip/"Chef", Archer/T'Pol after Trip died, Archer/T'Pol before he went out onto the dais, Trip/T'Pol in the shuttlepod, Archer/Trip in the dining area. However, while I didn't mind them kiling off Trip, the execution once again was awkward. Plus there was way too much going on right before the Federation ceremony--Trip's death, Shran's daughter's kidnapping. I think it would have been better to have Trip's death take place a few years earlier in the Romulan War. It wouldn't present any logistical problems since we've seen characters jump around in a holo-program.

The episode that inspired NCC-1701's current avatar, And The Children Shall Lead, gets my vote. What a terrible, terrible episode. Bad script and bad guest actor. The only episode that might have challenged it for me would have been Lonely Among Us from TNG, but since it didn't make the cut ATCSL is an easy pick for me.

I wouldn't have picked any of those bad episodes, I'd go with something else, but "The Fight" was blatant pandering, IMHO.

It's actually one of my favorite episodes. Kind of embarrassing to admit, but I love the camp factor and the wonderful music. I'd take this over trash like "Code of Honor" anyday.

OT: I'm having some major difficulties choosing one of these episodes... They all suck so hard it's almost impossible to wade through the suckiness and choose the most sucky of the lot. Think I'll sleep on it.

My post was OT: It is my opinion of the poll. I don't go into the DS9 section, because A) I hate the ENTIRE series for reasons posted elsewhere on this board, and B) It would not be proper for me to go into your house to insult your taste in decorating. However, I am still free to state my opinion elsewhere, as are you.
