Worst Episode of DS9 FINAL POLL

Really guys and gals, for any other other episode, no matter that all of them are trash of some kind, I can found excuse. "Move Along Home" is indeed terrible but it´s season 1 episode, they had serious problems so I suggest to declare immunity for them. "Sanctuary" at least tried to do something interesting with Gamma Quadrant and Bajorans in quite untypical role. Meridian had the Quark/Kira subplot. In "The Muse" was probably only tolerable plot of Lwaxanna and I´m kinda sucker for atmosphere of season 4.
"Profit and Lace" is watchable for at least first 15 minutes and I liked Nilva. Finally, in "Emperor´s new cloak" MU lost it´s remaining dignity but I can appriciate some good intentions in using it in humorous way.
I can´t simply see anything good about this highly convulted , stupid and disorganized Risa story...

i liked the frst 15 min of move along home , the scene where sisko wakes up and the camera pans away from him as if he were in a cage was quite eerie. and the following scene with the doctor trying to wake himself up by screaming and siskos amusement at it was a hoot .
but after that it just went downhill , the hopscotch scene . and everything that followed , it was a big disappointment . its a shame , cause the ep had such potential

It came down to Meridian, Sin and Profit for me.
I can tolerate Sin as it has Leeta in it. I could watch paint dry, if it was a painting of Leeta. Profit... Is bad, toe curlingly bad, it's liek watching a car wreck.
But Meridian is dull, uninteresting, annoying, sickening, vile, bilious. wretched, yukh

Ahh the old "prove your NOT a murderer" (the burden is proof is on the persona making the proposition)
BUT...
-We got to see some more of Risa
-We got to explore the idea that the future will have something akin to modern day neo-cons and or nuts (remember Picard in Drumhead "she or someone like her will always be with us")
-We got to see Quark in some funny scenes
It was hardly a GREAT episode but it does not deserve to be among the worst
Let He Who is Without Sin. Just very bad. Vanessa Williams was wasted, the "romance" was lame and the story was just boring. This was an actively bad episode. So gets my vote.
Move Along Home was just mediocre. It wasn't offensive. I just thought the climax that it was just a pointless game was disappointing, the ending abrupt. I cringed for the actors having to play hopscotch and Nana gave one of her worst performances.
I liked Sanctuary don't get the hate for this one especially in a season that gave us Melora and Second Sight.
Meridian is pretty poor--too much technobabble, Brett Cullen's cute but there was no chemistry between Jadzia and his character which didn't help me feel the least bit for Dax's decision to abandon her life. The B-plot was okay but not great.
I never cared for Ferengi episodes but I did to my surprise enjoy P&L and don't think it is nearly as bad as people make it out to be and I also enjoyed Emperor's New Cloak.

Being it american politics reference I can´t quite get it like yanks do but problem is that in the case of Fullerton, this analogy was simply fragile as his character himself was (initially) toothless. Becouse they are avoiding further references to real philosophies, only what he says are empty phrases - "Fedaration, must return to it´s principles...", "What if Borg or Dominion saw you having jamahorn here..." Blah, blah,blah. Only making Worf look stupider when he compares him to Kahless. Also, analogies should be more useful and thoghtful. Only what I´m gatting here is that if I´ll go on vacation to Thailand (no offense) and there will be rampaging american evangelic talking alot about what muslims and chinese will do when they´ll see Sodom and Gomorrah, it´s not a good idea to give him power over weather...

Profit and Lace was the worst episode. I don't know if it's listed but Badda-Bing Badda-Bang was the only episode I refused to watch on its first run. First, I didn't like Vic Fontaine. Second, we were moving up to the finale and it was so obviously a filler episode. I caught it later and admit it wasn't too bad.
Move Along Home? I don't know why people hate that episode. I remember Entertainment Weekly chose it as the worst episode years ago and couldn't believe it. It was cool and fun. I have no problems with it whatsoever. In fact, I feel like watching it again...

"Profit and Lace" gets my vote as well.
A much needed filler IMHO, and a very good one.
About the worst of DS9, I don't know exactly right now, maybe I'll re-watch some eps but I think I wouldn't pick any of these, there are others that irritate me more. In fact, I like most of these.
It wasn't just an American refrence, the UK during the Northern Ireland troubles had similar people that came to be known as "securocrats", who were so obsessed with security they saw threats that were not there, and in some of their reactions actually fuelled the threats.
To me that episode was the exploration of the classic argument do you take to many steps in the name of security that you destroy what the security is designed to protect.
Fullerton saying "if the dominon saw you here whoring yourselves on Risa" is not a million miles away from the current "don't debate our forign policy or you'll embolden the enemy", in fact I think homefront and paradise lost was an excellent and erree precurser to the current hysteria over terrorism remember what the chengeling said to Sisko "..just four of us..on this entire planet...and look at the havoc we've wrought....we dont' fear you the way you fear us...in the end, it's your fear that will destroy you".
There was also going to be alot more sexual aspects to that episode that had to be cut because in most markets DS9 is shown before the watershed and has a younger audience so has to be more subtle.
