Didn’t thanos only appear in one scene (and it was a post credit scene) before Infinity War? We didn’t see much of him at all.

There were a few. The first one was at the end of The Avengers, when Thanos's servant reported the defeat of the Chitauri army by the Avengers and said that invading Earth would be "courting death," which a CGI Thanos smiled at, as a play on the comics' Thanos being in love with the embodiment of Death, so naturally he'd want to court her. His first significant appearance, and his first played by Josh Brolin (uncredited), was in Guardians of the Galaxy as Ronan's boss and Gamora and Nebula's father, though it was a minor role. Then in the tag scene of Age of Ultron, he was seen clutching the Infinity Gauntlet and saying "Fine, I'll do it myself" after his agents had failed yet again to bring him the Infinity Stones.
I forgot that because of a board function Christopher can't see my posts, so someone can explain to him I already posted it.
There may not have been a big build up of "Him" in that we barely seen him, but there was a huge build up for the story of what he was after, the Stones. Just like moriarty lurking in the background, the story was moving.
With Doom, what is he after? What is he doing? There was zero build up in the lead up movies for the Story. There was some build up for Kang, but that got airlocked, so is he taking his place? who knows

I can sorta understand that when it comes to the comics and some of the events that transpired, I can see how this COULD make sense. But I doubt it myself, people are to invested in that character for this to happen.
HOWEVER....
It would be really fucking wild if it was true and Sadie's character is Mary Jane. So our Peter was with Michelle and Ben turns out to be with Mary Jane, but Ben was also with Michelle.

I would love for this supposed leak to be true because it would go a really long way towards making the MCU Spider-Man movies interesting.

I tried rewatching the Rami movies, I feel they are outdated AF and honestly, I think people give them a break for nostalgia reasons. The first Amazing Spider-Man is a great movie if you ask me, but the MCU ones are in my humble ( and in your eyes completely wrong ) opinion the best cinematic take on the character so far.

Look, I know you want Spider-Man to pretend like he's in his own world and no one else exists as a superhero but him, but that's not happening
That's not actually what I want at all.
What I want is for Spider-Man to actually be the focus of his own movies just as Iron Man, The Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Black Widow, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and Ant-Man were.
Then you're in luck. There are three recent movies where he is and a fourth on the way!
Thanks to Sony, not happening. Their demand for MCU Spidey movies is that he always has to have an MCU co-star to maximize potential audiences, probably because Sony is still upset that they turned down getting all the remaining Marvel characters licensed to them back in 2000 or so when they had the chance.
Depends on if any of them agreed to lower salaries, Dune was able to keep the budget relatively low despite all the big talent because the actors agreed to lower pay to keep costs from ballooning.
Indy 5 for example, one reason the budget was so big was because the actors knew they could demand big $$$ and Disney would cave. Maybe the Russos and Feige convinced the actors to agree to a slight reduction for Doomsday

Well guess what, so is Peter AND he does know. He was recruited into a fight between the Avengers. OFCOURSE they are going to be part of his movies, because they are a part of his world. Tony was established as the one that found him, and Tony takes care of his own. Ofcourse he was part of the first movie. Fury (even though not Fury but Fury by proxy) knows of him, OFCOURSE he would recruit this young talent for a mission. Peter now needs help.... OFCOURSE he's going to ask an Avenger.
Spider-Man was always the focus of his own movies. Stark, Fury, Strange... in comparison to him they hardly had screentime. Your logic isn't logical, it's emotional.
Indeed. We're not sure yet how long some of these characters will be in the movie. So perhaps they get paid less because they're only in there for a few minutes.
So far, 25 characters have been announced, not 41. According to Kevin Feige, the total number of characters, including those yet to be announced, will be 52.
Maybe they will make it back in Merch sales?...seriously though, many of the names listed to not strike me as those who would accept lower salaries unless there was a compelling reason?...
