Spoilers All Things STAR WARS - News, Speculation & Spoilers Thread

Picked back up playing Star Wars: Outlaws. I was not impressed with this on release. It was put on the shelf for a while. Now? Much better game. Though I'm still not thrilled with Kay Vess. This is a game dying for a character creator, to help sell the idea of it being your adventure.
I liked Kay a lot when I played recently.
Visions show isn't canon. But we don't know if this is canon.
No, it's a continuation of the two Ninth Jedi episode of Visions, which takes place in their own unique version of the Star Wars universe.
I sense nerds everywhere descending on this Franklin Institute. Soon it will feel like Comic Con.
They already said it will start traveling around the country in a few months, so if people are smart they'll wait to see if it comes to their hometown.

No they didn't. The article states not until after it's done with it's Franklin Institute run in September 2027.
Oh, I read the article but then for some reason I was thinking it was going to start traveling at the end of this year.
But I basic point still stand, there's no point spending a fortune to travel all the way to Philadelphia when it could end up coming to you hometown once it starts traveling.

It'd be off the top of the screen, with the other High Republic and Earlier stories.

The graphic is still wrong, though. The official timeline puts the changeover between "Reign of the Empire" and "Age of Rebellion" between Rogue One and A New Hope.
I do prefer the Age of Rebellion starting with Andor, though. The rebellion was already in full swing by the time of ANH. There are, of course, pockets of rebel activity in The Bad Batch, Solo, and Obi-Wan Kenobi, but placing those in "Reign of the Empire" makes sense because at that point the Empire is at the peak of its power. It's in Andor and Rebels when the cracks in its armor really started to spread.

Daisy Ridley gets a bit part in a dire-looking Johnny Depp comeback attempt? Yikes. I expected her to become a bigger star than this a decade ago.

I've always felt she could use a big, cheerful, crowd-pleasing rom-com to shore up her status as a cross-Atlantic bi-national "America's sweetheart" type. I actually see she has a rom-com due next year, co-starring... Alden Ehrenreich! Once we see her smooch him, will we ever be able to look at Rey's scenes with Ford's Han Solo the same way again? :rommie:

I'm assuming Starfighter will probably be our first entry in the New Jedi Order era.

Johnny Depp as Scrooge? Just shut up and take my money.

I would hardly consider a film with Johnny Depp to be peanuts. Especially when its an adaptation of a Dickens classic.

The only question I have is will it replace George C. Scotts version as my personal favorite?
