Iron Man came out on May 2nd, 2008, and The Incredible Hulk came out on June 13, 2008. So Iron Man by about 5 weeks.
I think it was Iron Man because Tony Stark had a cameo in Hulk.
I was blown away at the end of Hulk when Tony Stark walked in. I was really not expecting it.
Actually, that started with the Nick Fury appearance in the first Iron Man movie. The Incredible Hulk doesn't actually have a post credit scene. The Tony Stark scene is tacked on to the end of the movie proper.which of coruse started the mcu trademark post credits scenes and also the mcu trademark mid credits scenes
Just to be clear 1943: Rise of Hydra has no connection to the MCU.

Pft. I always watched all of the credits before it was cool.It does feel though like a post credit scene that someone felt like it was to good to not show sooner. The fans were not trained yet to expect post credit scenes in the movies.
That's true, but since there isn't a dedicated thread for non-MCU Marvel content, especially games, felt the need to share it here.Just to be clear 1943: Rise of Hydra has no connection to the MCU.
I've watched all the credits since the 80s. There's often interesting pieces of information such as music choices and filming locations, but also I've felt that it's respectful to all the people who worked on the film. Finally, the music is often enjoyable.Pft. I always watched all of the credits before it was cool.
Yup, all of those reasons and if I'm with someone, it's a great opportunity to talk about the film right away. Plus, if it's a busy showing, it's better to wait for people to filter out and then leave.I've watched all the credits since the 80s. I sometimes do that. I will fast forward to the songs used in the movies just to see which bands or singers were used. I also like to look at the actors credits to see who played some of the smaller roles. Like who played "Guy getting out of a cab" and stuff like that.Yeah, I generally hang around for the music if nothing else.
Small town cinema. Whatcha gonna do... They don't do it anymore but they do switch on floodlights when the movie is over. What I like to call "get lost" lights. Fortunately, I only have to deal with it now when I go back for a visit.Damn, I've never heard of that happening. That's kind of insane and rude.
My old cinema used to turn off the screen shortly after the credits started, usually when everyone had left. Hated that. Especially when there were films that had scenes playing over the end credits like 'School of Rock'. Granted, I was the only person left but all that changed when Marvel started doing post credit scenes and annoyed parents had to ask staff to restart the credits because their kids wanted to see the post credits scene. Thank you Marvel.
