News Season 2 will be the last (show cancelled)

One of the things I hate most about streaming. When you have just 10 episodes to get a season right it's a lot easier to produce a bad season.
And that's the interesting thing. Back when it was 26 episodes of season; many thought that if they had a shorter season; they could spend more time making a lesser number of episodes better because they had more time to work on each episode. And people also thought they would pick better ideas and you wouldn't see any filler episodes.

Boy, were we wrong!

At least Code of Honor had a decent score that wasn’t sonic wallpaper. That’s the only thing going for it.
Along with the shaving scene, the unique way the end fight was done, and Jessie Lawrence Ferguson's performance.

Is "Code of Honor" good? No, but there are some good things in it. Take out the overall casting of the Ligonians, and it's a more a midlevel episode.

I would avtually have to say "PROFIT AND LACE" is a worse episode than "Code of Honor". It has far less positives in it.

I mean, I probably sound contrarian when I say I had a lot of fun with PIC Season 3 but it's brain cell-killing levels of dumb. Because both are true. I both found it a big improvement over Season 2 and also, damn, is the plot of the final year so stupid that I have to wonder if Matalas was smoking a killer strain of weed the entire time he and his writers worked on those ten episodes.

"It can't be fun if it's that ridiculously stupid" is another phrase that doesn't hold water. You can have a great time with a movie or TV show that's empty calories and makes you feel dumb afterwards.

You can have fun, as long as it doesn't bother you that it's being an embarrassing mess.

Personally I get enough of an attachment to series I love that I can't bear to watch them turning into absurd fantasy or being written by people who clearly do not get it. That's not fun to me, it pisses me off.

I mean I'm not saying this is the case with everything I watch. I really liked Disco's season 2 finale even though it's the stupidest hour of Star Trek since... I dunno, A Night in Sickbay. But it's very possible for me to not have fun if it's ridiculously stupid.
