Damn, that one was a flaming diaper.

At least Code of Honor had a decent score that wasn’t sonic wallpaper. That’s the only thing going for it.Yeah, but no more flaming than many other episodes…

Law of averages strikes again. That production machine could be unforgiving when pumping out 26 episodes a season. There has been enough bad Trek spread across the last sixty+ years that no series is immune from very, very bad episodes.

They had to throw everything they had against the wall to see what sticks and if it didn't all stick they'd have to nail something to the wall.Law of averages strikes again. That production machine could be unforgiving when pumping out 26 episodes a season.

No, it is more flaming than many others. "Code" is just one of the handful that's even worse.Yeah, but no more flaming than many other episodes…

It's bad even by Trek bad standards. One of the things I hate most about streaming. When you have just 10 episodes to get a season right it's a lot easier to produce a bad season.Heck, they can’t even get ten episodes a season out the door without some turds mixed in.
I'm going to say that I'm completely unsurprised by this.I actually enjoy Profit and Lace. I shall report for manditory lapidation.

I'm not deliberately contrarian it just sort of accidently happens once or twenty times.

And that's the interesting thing. Back when it was 26 episodes of season; many thought that if they had a shorter season; they could spend more time making a lesser number of episodes better because they had more time to work on each episode. And people also thought they would pick better ideas and you wouldn't see any filler episodes. One of the things I hate most about streaming. Along with the shaving scene, the unique way the end fight was done, and Jessie Lawrence Ferguson's performance. At least Code of Honor had a decent score that wasn’t sonic wallpaper. That’s the only thing going for it.
I never made the connection that that was the guy from Prince of Darkness until right now.Along with the shaving scene, the unique way the end fight was done, and Jessie Lawrence Ferguson's performance.
Honestly, I can relate. I like a lot of works that people seem to condemn; I’m not being contrarian, I just like looking for what a show gives me, as opposed to its flaws. (Then again, I’ve disliked some things that were near-universally loved, so I dunno.)I'm not deliberately contrarian it just sort of accidently happens once or twenty times
You can have fun, as long as it doesn't bother you that it's being an embarrassing mess."It can't be fun if it's that ridiculously stupid" is another phrase that doesn't hold water. You can have a great time with a movie or TV show that's empty calories and makes you feel dumb afterwards.
