Looking for more on this design

Im looking for any information on the ship design that kinda looks like this:

The nacelle i think was supposed to be the TMP type but the critical thing is the saucer cutouts. I dont know if the original design came from FASA or SFB or a fan design but i know ships with this cutout design were all over starshipschematics.net before it went down so its not an original of mine.

All that is - is the Saladin/Hermes from the old Star Trek Technical Manual (Franz Joseph) with a part of it hacked out...

No its not, or its region blocked in the US. Thats why this is frustrating, cause i know ive seen variations on it there
It's certainly not region-blocked. I'm in the US. The webmaster (@137th Gebirg) is in the US. I don't know what problem you're having, but it's not that the website is down or refusing you service because of your location.

It's clearly meant to be illustrative of the picture they're looking for.

Those aggressive cutouts on the saucer aren't an uncommon element in TMP-era fan designs. Ship Schematics doesn't have thumbnails or anything, so it's a little time-consuming to look through them all to make a visual ID. I started looking through the ones listed as "destroyer," and I found a number of designs by Arik Deylan that look similar to the sketch.

The last one is most similar to the sketch, except for being a Miranda-derivative, not a Hermes/Saladin with only one engine. Unfortunately, there isn't any more information attached to it than the name of the artist, so it'll require more work to see if there are other ships with that saucer floating around and what the original example was.

So...for whatever reason Chrome wont open the site but Brave does...

The Trawl looks most familiar, though i know ive seen a 3d version of that with one or two nacelles in a saladin/akula positioning.

I *think* the Flamenco forward cutouts showed up on an actual FASA design *somewhere* and Im thinking the same may be true of the Trawl

It’s probably something to do with the fact that I’m still running on basic http port 80. I never got the certs to go to https port 443. Never felt it was something I needed to do, but some browsers and security policies block non-SSL traffic. One day I might get around to it.
