DC Cinematic Universe ( The James Gunn era)

Yeah, let's compare an entire series to some short clips and a trailer. :guffaw:

That all show the same thing. They have made it very clear what the show is, a True detective rip off with "Brown" Lanterns that almost certainly will barely have any actual Lantern power use and will probably have an extremely mundane crime story. Its looking like its basically an old Snyder style DCEU project that was allowed into Gunn's DC stuff for some reason. If nothing else, its going to make Ryan Reynold's GL movie look like a masterpiece in comparison (the suits may have been CG, but at least they were fucking green).

Par for the course for  kirk, honestly.

Doesn't it get tiring being so distressed whenever someone disagrees with you on an open forum? I'm sure you can start a blog or a YouTube channel where the discussion is only about what you want and only your opinion is allowed.

The trailer has been pulled from all official HBO and DC channels and socials (other than unofficial mirrors and James Gunn's X account)

DC Studios Has Suddenly Pulled Lanterns Trailer From Almost Everywhere

cue a reshaded version next month, with BRIGHT GREEN uniforms

Pulling a Sonic the Hedgehog won't save the show, but it would be better than nothing.

Come to think of it, it's a given that only one person can wear a ring at a time. (Unless it's a really oversized ring or they have really small fingers.)

Hal Jordan has worn multiple Green Lantern rings as well as a Green and Blue Ring.
Guy Gardner has worn a Green and Red at the same time, and Kyle Rayner has worn all seven colors at once.

Yeah, but that's one person wearing multiple rings. What I'm saying is that you can't have multiple people simultaneously wearing a single ring, unless they have really narrow fingers.

Sure, but the difference being Clayface is often seen as Batman's villain (although I guess that's strictly true as seen on Harley Quinn) whereas the Guardians are a team of their own without being seen as a secondary connection to other heroes or villains.

Thanks to the various Batman cartoons and Harley Quinn, Clayface is far more well known to more people than Guardians Of The Galaxy were. It's why they made a running joke out of "Who?"

God that's some cringy shit right there. Blue, red, yellow, purple...just awful.

oh ok but still thought lol oliver queen aka spector did recreate the entire multiverse after the crisis on infinite earths

Within the fictional reality of the Arrowverse, yes, Oliver recreated the entire multiverse. But other works of DC-based fiction are not required to be consistent with that premise, because these are all just stories, of course.

Love True Detective, so that's not a detriment. After all Green Lanterns are space cops.
"Brown" Lanterns isn't half as clever you think is.
"probably" is doing a lot of lifting here.
Isn't your avatar from a show that called itself "Arrow?" (What was the source material again?)

Projection?
Seriously, what in the @The Nth Doctor post indicates they are "distressed" and has no interest in actual discussion?

🥱🥱🥱

I'm really confused, I just skimmed through the article and other than the headline there is no mention of either of the Chandlers.
Yup, I noticed that, too. Pure clickbait.
13 days have passed since your comment, but I’ll still write it. To be able to read the rest of Jeff Sneider’s articles, you need to subscribe. More accurately, after the open part that appears in the text preview of Jeff Sneider’s articles, the paid part shows up. So if he wrote 2.5 thousand words, he leaves 1 to 1.5 thousand of it open.
