I love the mixture of styles on this one, with the Antares-inspired saucer rim and the TMP-style impulse engines on an otherwise very Daedalus-like vessel. the only thing I actively dislike are the Bussard collectors. imo they should just be the full diameter of that flat bit at the front of the nacelles and not stick out that far forward either. but that's just me.

I can see that as a vessel used for impulse tests.
Quite a bit of mass-shifting on both, but that's par for the course with Transformers.

so this morning i decided to continue work on my model of Ael t'Rllaillieu's Bloodwing, which, for various reasons i have chosen not to depict as a BoP. but then i started a blockout of one as a comparison object thingy and accidentally basically the whole thing.

khre'Riov Ael t'Rllaillieu's flagship. although frequently depicted as a Bird-of-Prey, as seen in the TOS episode "Balance of Terror", the Bloodwing is described as an old cruiser in at least one of the Rihannsu books, and that doesn't fit the BoP's role or age. based the look heavily on WWII aircraft. kinda feel like she's missing something (besides viewports, which i may add later) but not sure what, and don't really want to overdo it...
there's a little bit of a curve, both horizontally and vertically. one of the bits that probably needs tweaking. the wings are a weird bit of geometry. and it wasn't until seeing someone else's work on this board that i realized the "straight" sections aft of center they come off actually have a subtle curve to them as well, which makes the wings more odd

EDIT: i did not recall that the Mann class was from the Chronology, as someone on reddit reminded me. i just thought it was one of Atolm's tamer designs he was fidddling with. i knew the secondary pods on the nacelles were tripping something in my brain...
