Random Thoughts...or...What's on Your Mind?

Is your pharmacy wasteful with the bags they put your prescription in? Mine used to put them in a paper bag that I'd put in recycling, but I'm not sure if they even were recyclable. It was paper, but it also felt a little too slick. Now they use plastic bags which aren't reusable and definitely not recyclable.
Mine uses actual paper bags which can be recycled. What you describe sound like paper bags with a very thin plastic liner, they're not so god for recycling

HEB (my grocery store) has been using recyclable brown paper bags for prescriptions for the past couple of years. They used to have white, plastic zip-lock bags.

I received the news earlier today that my mother passed away peacefully in her sleep this morning. She was 95. Unfortunately I won't be able to attend her memorial service in Rancho Mirage because I have surgery scheduled the previous day and I'll need a couple of days to recuperate.

I'm so sorry to hear that! You have my sincerest condolences. I hope you have someone there to support you, both physically and emotionally.

Numerous encounters on forums such as the now-defunct Fur Affinity Forums, an obnoxious preachy former coworker, and the strong overlap of both Christianity and autism in the Sonic fandom, to name a few.

Has anyone else noticed how, in fandom/"nerd" communities, the religious members are the most autistic?
Do you mean actually autistic , as someone diagnosed with a neuro-developmental condition, or people who are just socially awkward ? And how many people have you personally observed?

As much as I despise organized religion, I don't think it's fair to assume religious Trek fans are somehow developmentally impaired. Not to mention that online communication is not necessarily the same as face-to-face communication. One might come across very poorly online vs. face to face, and vice versa.

P.S.
Or is this just an attempt at an April Fool's joke?

Thank you for expressing the concerns I have
